White Online Chapter 54

[AGI: 40 -> 50]

[SP: 10 -> 0]

Isaac used the Stat Points he received from the leveling up. He already chose to assign all of them to agility. He could already feel his physique improving.

He improved his agility by 20%. It would be weird if he didn't feel any changes.

After that, Isaac looked around him, trying to find where he was, and soon, he saw familiar wooden fences.

''I teleported very close...'' He murmured and walked towards the Goblin Village.

The Goblin Village was very quiet, without any signs of life. The terrible stench is still lingering in the air, making Isaac grimace in disgust.

Flies were seen circling around the skeletons of dead animals. Isaac can already tell that the worst stench is coming from the Hobgoblin's building. He felt a need to go check out if the Hobgoblin dropped anything else.

But, he shook his head and turned away from the building. He didn't concentrate yesterday on the stench much because of the adrenaline, but now that he is in a calm state of mind, he didn't dare to take one step closer towards the building.

Isaac looked around the village for anything worth selling, but he didn't find anything.

He looked around for human corpses but didn't see any. Now he understood why the Goblin looked so shocked after seeing him.

He must be the first human who has entered this forest.

Isaac scratched his soft white hair and left the last building he checked.

The desolate village came to view, but this time... Something felt different.

Isaac's eyebrow jumped. For some reason, the current calmness seemed unnatural.

When he entered the village, it was dead silent. But now, he has a feeling like someone was looking at him.

The same feeling he had countless times in his real life. He has gotten used to all kinds of looks he has received, and now he has almost like seventh sense.

Sometimes it is his imagination. Like, after his incident, he always felt like he was watched.

He felt like the men with ski masks were everywhere looking at his movements. He thought it was his imagination, but he always gets goosebumps out of nowhere.

It is different when his family is looking at him, but when someone he doesn't know, he always feels uncomfortable.

It is his trauma at work.

His trauma is still present subconsciously.

But, it isn't some kind of Superpower. Most of the times it is his imagination, and sometimes it doesn't even work.

It usually works when he is in calm state of mind.

'Doesn't hurt to be safe...' Isaac thought and walked in the opposite direction from the gates of the village.

He walked past the Hobgoblin's building and climbed the wooden fence. The wooden fence was relatively crude and poorly made. It almost fell down when he climbed it.

He landed on the other side of the wall and started walking away. The uncomfortable feeling disappeared, and he could finally sigh a relief.

He doesn't know whether it was his imagination or not.

Isaac descended long downhill. The wooden fences of the Goblin Village were on top of the hill.

In his opinion, it was a smart move for the Goblins to build the village in that spot. This hill is an excellent guarding spot, but they weren't focusing on guarding the front gates at all. That made Isaac's job very easy.

He arrived at the bottom of the hill, and a small river became visible. There were few rocks on the surface of the river.

Isaac used the rocks to safely cross the river.

He almost slipped on the last one, but he managed to keep his balance.

There was another forest in front of him, which was part of the Forest of Unknown, but Isaac wasn't planning to wander far.

He remembers that the level limit is 100, which means there must be monsters of that caliber.

Isaac was about to enter the forest, but then he started having goosebumps again. He felt like someone was gazing at his back.

He took his Flintlock Pistol from the Inventory and pointed it towards the hill, where he came from.

''Come out!'' Isaac shouted with his finger on the trigger. Cold sweat was pouring on his back while watching the dark forest in front of him.

'Was it my imagination...' He thought to himself, he was about to put his gun away, but then... A sound of footsteps echoed from the hill.

A black-haired young man with a bow on his back appeared on the bottom of the hill. He had an apologetic look on his face.

A nametag floated above him.

[Darth]

[Guild: Black Arrow]

''I am sorry for startling you,'' Darth said with gentle eyes. He had long eyebrows with beautiful blue eyes, looking like pair of gems. Overall, very attractive individual.

Isaac was still pointing his Flintlock pistol at him, but he had a feeling that Darth wasn't hostile.

Slowly he lowered his gun, but he didn't put it back on the Inventory.

''I am here with my Guild, we came here to explore this forest, but we aren't the only ones here. There are countless other Guilds, and I saw you wandering in the Goblin Village. Are you willing to come with me to meet my Guild? It is not safe for a solo player.'' Darth said with a gentle tone.

Isaac felt like his words made sense.

He didn't know that there were so many players exploring the forest. It only took one night for everyone to gather in the Forest of Unknown.

But it isn't surprising. The Beast Forest is way too crowded with people, and spending a few hours for a carriage ride is worth it if you can have one forest all for yourself.

But, it seems that many Guild had the same idea.

''Alright...'' Isaac said softly, but Darth heard him crystal clear.

Isaac used the rocks again, and once he was in the last rock, it was already a little bit underwater, which made his balance a mess.

He was about to fall down, but then a firm hand grabbed him and pulled him to the shore.

''Thanks...'' Isaac said with gratitude.

''No problem!'' Darth said with a smile. He took his hand away and said, ''I already messaged my Guild, they will meet us in the Goblin Village.''

Isaac nodded and followed behind him.
