When such rhetoric came from Nuadra’s mouth, Merica knew she could not decline the invitation.
Because now, she understood just how extraordinary and unique Shane truly was.
Before such a Shane, what remarkable traits could a mere elf possess?
If she wanted to stay by Shane’s side and not be left behind, then Merica had to bravely make her choice and also strive to become extraordinary.
"I won’t say that after becoming my Blessing, you will qualify to keep up with your beloved."
"But I assure you, I will fully cultivate you, guide you, making you even more excellent and outstanding."
"In this way, one day in the future, you may be able to stand by his side and solve his troubles."
Nuadra, disregarding the protests of Shane standing beside, made her suggestions to Merica.

It was determination.

Outside the Temple’s gate, Shane clearly explained this to Sophie and the others.
Sophie fell silent for a moment, her face showing both distraction and loss, eventually replaced by relief and joy, bringing a beautiful smile to her face.
"Great!" Sophie exclaimed loudly, "The Elf Clan is finally going to have another Blessing of the Nature Goddess, how wonderful!"
Sophie genuinely rejoiced for Merica and the Elf Clan.
On the other hand, Leiya and Nia, although somewhat happy and relieved, felt more complex emotions.
"Eventually, Merica still became the Nuadra Goddess’s Blessing..."
The two whispered, unclear about what they regretted or what they found indescribable.
Shane glanced at these three elves and finally fixed his gaze on Sophie.
He remembered Nuadra mentioning something that had happened to this Elf Queen, preventing her from receiving the Blessing of the Nature Goddess.
For Sophie, Merica becoming the Blessing of the Nature Goddess could be particularly significant.
But Shane was not interested in learning Sophie’s story.
Firstly, it had nothing to do with him.
Secondly, he already had plenty of worries, and he had no inclination now to unravel mysteries concerning others or to delve into their privacy and secrets.

Taking another’s Blessing could be a major or minor issue.
On a larger scale, it could amount to a conflict as significant as a blood feud.
Like Lidas, who considered her Blessings as her own children and treated them all as daughters, if someone tried to remove her Blessing and take her Blessing away, she would undoubtedly fight to the death.
Among the Divine Race, Goddesses often fought fiercely over an outstanding Blessing.
Thus, removing a Blessing was no trivial matter—it could cause problems of great magnitude.
But if it were seen as minor, indeed, it was very minor.
I have mentioned several times before, the higher the level of a god in the Divine Race, the more obvious the importance attributed to their Blessings.
In other words, if it were a Lower-level God, they typically wouldn’t care much about their Blessings.
Lower-level Gods have the most Blessings since Human Race civilians are all blessed by Lower-level Gods of the Divine Race, while only exceptional geniuses are noticed and become Blessings of Upper-level Gods.
However, considering the population of the Divine Race isn’t extensive, and the Human Race’s population is tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands times larger,
of this vast population, more than ninety percent are regular individuals.
These individuals are all blessed by Lower-level Gods.
Thus, Lower-level Gods typically have an astonishing number of Blessings, and these individuals mostly lead mediocre lives until they die.
Therefore, Lower-level Gods naturally do not place great importance on their Blessings.
Only Upper-level Gods value their Blessings highly since their Blessings are talents and future heroes from the human race.
The Three Great Goddesses are particularly so, sometimes finding a person worth blessing only once every few hundred or even thousands of years, naturally cherishing them immensely.
