The family of three walked back home together. After helping her uncle and aunt sit in the main hall, Shang Ruyi solemnly kneeled before the two elders. Yu, already with reddened eyes, stepped forward with tears and helped her up.
She rubbed Shang Ruyi’s hand, repeatedly saying, "No need for such formalities."

She absolutely could not let her caring uncle and aunt worry, so she even kept Tushere, who grew up with her since childhood, in the dark about the transaction between Yu Wenye and herself.
