After several turns, the carriage arrived in front of a low but heavily fortified building, next to the door of which were written in large letters 'Meister County Prison'.

Alonso waved his hand dismissively and said, "Listen, Magis, to prove your strength, I need you to kill someone for me, a newly appointed Knight named Rein."
"If you can handle this, I might be able to help a little with the deal you mentioned last time."
Upon hearing Alonso's words, Magis looked visibly happier, which showed a noticeable softening in Alonso's attitude from before.
However, Magis suddenly found it odd, thinking that if the target was merely a new Knight, the Baron here would not have trouble dealing with him.
So, Magis, wary, asked, "Baron, is this Rein merely a new Knight?"
Alonso pondered for a moment and said, "This Rein is quite strong for his young age. I believe he now has at least the strength of a seasoned Knight."
"Oh? A seasoned Knight? Haha, a piece of cake. Don't worry, my Lord Alonso, we will take care of this." Having heard that the target was a seasoned Knight and not just any new Knight, Magis was relieved that they were being asked to intervene due to the target's commendable strength.

"But as a sign of concern for our allies, I do hope you send capable people to handle this. Otherwise, if he gets a chance to grow further, he might become a major trouble for you later on," Alonso shrugged.
"Thank you for your concern, my Lord Alonso, please rest assured. If any problem arises, we will take responsibility for it," Magis said, somewhat relieved having heard there was no more news.
He had just felt that he had fallen into a trap set by Alonso, agreeing to the demand before being led by the nose, the difficulty of the task rising step by step.
