Yanarym should instill her cold-temperament act as of the moment upon observing the brothers and the female lead later.
Yashnile kept on holding her hand tightly but it was not hurting her. He would glance at her every minute confirming that she was beside him. She did not comment on his frantic reaction but it seems like Yazeno became irritated with his fuzzy older brother.
"Kuya! You're making me dizzy!" Yazeno exclaimed with a frown.
"Don't shout." He sternly shifted his attention to Yazeno's direction and immediately he pouted, heeding his older brother's command. "Don't mind him Rym, he's spoiled. What do you want to eat? I called Papa, he is flying to get right here to see you." When he turned to her his voice softened as if he was not strict at all. Yazeno was somewhat surprised with his brother's treatment of their long-lost sister but he could understand.
Yanarym smiled at Yashnile, "Don't be anxious, I'm not going anywhere anymore." She told him with a tiny cold voice yet incisive tone. She squeezed his hand that was holding her for reassurance. Yashnile was startled by her mature temperament but felt like something inside him melted. His eyes were getting warm and moist, peering at her, it feels like everything was just a dream and any moment now, he will wake up and she will be gone.
"Why are you so small?" He started crying, letting out the questions that he kept from the moment he saw her. He couldn't imagine what she had gone through for all those years. "Did those bad guys not feed you? Were you maltreated? You're so skinny." Pulling her for another embrace, she chose to sit on his lap and let him sink into reality. "Kuya will not let anything happen to you again, okay?"
Yanarym nodded her head. She admits it, even though Movu tried feeding her three times a day, she doesn't grow bigger to her age. Maybe because they only eat fast food and junk foods. When she stood beside Yazeno, their height differences were only inches apart. Is she four feet?
They arrived at a high-class restaurant, Yashnile was carrying her on his arm and she was wrapping her arms to his neck, sitting on his arm. "Sir Nile! Sir Zen, welcome back!"
"Good afternoon Mery, can we have a room please?"
"Yes sir, of course." A woman in uniform who seemed familiar with the brothers greeted them. She guides them to the room and Yanarym could see that the lady was glancing at her, seeming curious what she's doing latching on Yashnile's body.
"Here's your usual room sir." A massive room filled with delicious aroma made Yanarym's stomach growl.
"..." The rest looked at her, she looked back to Yashnile and he seemed surprised with her stomach. These rich kids have never heard a growling tummy, don't they?
"Prepare us everything, Mery," Yashnile said without taking his eyes on her.
"Was that you?" Yazeno approached her, "Are you hungry? I have chocolate here." He extended his arm and gave her a bar of chocolate. She took it and opened it to have a bite. "You're the same as ate Cailly, right? Why is she smaller, Kuya?"
"Yazeno!" Yashnile screamed at Yazeno but it was too late. Mentioning the female lead, the original's replacement to the family. Wasn't that harsh? Yanarym doesn't mind though.
"Cailly?" Chewing her chocolate, Yanarym redirected her eyes to Yashnile and peered at him with curiosity. "Who is that?"
"...ahm." Yashnile glared at Yazeno but he just shrugged and walked to the table to take a seat. "We had a lot of stories to tell to each other, right? Why don't we eat first? And you are hungry too." He smiled at her awkwardly. He put her on one of the soft chairs and sat beside her, an appetizer was served seconds later. And they started to eat with no noise.
Yazeno, in the plot, was not antagonizing the female lead like Yashnile but he doesn't care either. In the story, he was very attached to the original, but in the original's memory, she was disconnected from him. The brothers had a chapter of exposure in the first book where Yanarym was in right now. And the rest was about Cailly's adventure with the male lead. She had a few details in this family. Cailly also did not mention her adopted family because they were treating her badly. Everyone blamed her for the original's death. She doesn't want anything to do with them. And the original had not been interacting with the family when she came back. So, Yanarym had a very small amount of knowledge on how to deal with these brothers.
"Where were you the whole time, Ate Rym?" Yazeno asked after they finished the main dish, he was glancing at her and couldn't help himself but to ask. "Mom was looking for you until she died."
"Yazeno! Shut it! I said we talk later."
"I was taken captive by bad guys and someone saved me and brought me back here."
"Saved you? By the police?"
"No, his name is Movu. He took care of me for five years."
"Movu?"
"Yes, he was about your age, Kuya Nile," Yanarym muttered and started to tell the story to them. It was a different report that she gave to the police station, this one is the authentic story. The three of them were solemn until the end. Yashnile was holding her hand and stroking it with his thumbs.
"Where is he? We should thank him for bringing you back home."
"I don't know. He left me." She muttered nonchalantly. "But don't worry, he will come back to get me."
"Don't worry about anything, okay? It's alright. I'm here." Yashnile stood up and walked to her to loft her off the chair and hug her tightly. Yazeno, who was watching, rushed to them and stood on the chair to join the group hug. "No one's gonna hurt you."
