Alyx paused and stared at her lips. He gulped and unbuttoned the first two buttons of his polo. He took a deep breath, this is no time to be aroused, she's sleeping and she's exhausted.
"Alright, sleep more. I'll be here when you wake up." He kissed her on the forehead and stood up then turned off the light of her room.
"Where's she?" Kane asked as Alyx came to the dining table alone.
Alyx sits down first, "She looks tired from crying. She must have been sad because someone stained her reputation." Alyx said with a dreadful tone.
Alvan coughed because of the misunderstanding but chose not to reveal the truth. Although he was not scared to be caught about what he did.
Kane was hoping to help her forget what happened today by telling her the good news he wanted to tell her ever since yesterday. It's just that he was enthralled loving her that he forgot about it. And when they were done, she was already asleep and he couldn't disturb her. He intended to stay and wait for her to wake up but the director of the hospital heard that he had returned from America. And called him to have a private regarding his residency and promotion. He was contemplating leaving her but in the end, he chose to go, because he realized that Yarisa's treatment will cost them more than he could earn.
Despite making up his mind, he did not expect that at dawn the scandal involving Yanarym would erupt. He should have stayed to be with her at this moment but he wasn't. When he tried going to her condominium, the building was flooded with reporters and anchors. He couldn't get through at all, afraid that he could worsen her situation. Instead, he called Alyx to monitor the situation.
Alyx promised Kane not to worry since he was already doing his best to stop the commotion. Informed him that Alvan was already by her side and taking care of her. With that, Kane was relieved and drove back to the hospital. And thought that he will just tell her the news later.
And now that he found she cried in her sleep, he kept regretting leaving her that day. If he was by her side, he wouldn't even let her hold her phone. Since he could not do anything with the past, he wanted to make up for the incoming days. He was pretty sure that she would be delighted with the news he has.
Of course, he had no intention of telling it to the brothers. Yarisa's cure must come from him, he won't let them take the credits for his hard work.
Especially to Alyx, he was well aware of Yanarym's requirement of her marriage. That still counts up to now, and he found out that Alyx keeps on going abroad to inquire about Yarisa's medical condition. Fortunately, Alyx couldn't find any solution to this day. And Kane was the one who found Yarisa's cure, so he was anticipating that if this all went well. He could claim Yanarym all for himself. Because she doesn't have to worry about Yarisa anymore. It's a happy ending for him, finally.
It was three o'clock in the morning when Yanarym felt thirsty, although her body wasn't that painful, her buttocks were particularly aching. She was sluggish and she couldn't even walk because her knees were giving out. She's just thankful that her bed was soft and smooth because if it wasn't, she'll cry out from the after-effects of the recent activity.
She took a few deep breaths when she was finally able to stand up. Clenched her teeth in anguish. This was worse than she expected, she regretted how she could be such a pervert, she doesn't want to get spank again if not necessary.
She found Alvan laying and sleeping on the couch of the living room instead of his designated room. Next to him was Kane who was sitting but seemed asleep as his eyes were closed. The television was playing a movie that seemed like a mystery, and the main role was played by Alvan. She guessed they fell asleep while watching the movie. She smiled and adored them for seconds, just last year, she was alone at her tiny apartment.
She died. With no one beside her. She was not lonely; rather, she felt unfulfilled. But today, she was delighted, although they were such a monster in bed, and thought that their so-called 'love' for her will be gone someday. She is very happy experiencing this at the present. It was fun, going here and fulfilling the owner of her current body wishes.
She walked to the kitchen and was stunned seeing Alyx with his reading glasses and casual clothes. He wasn't even in pj's, come to think of it, she never saw Alyx in pajamas. If he's not naked, he's wearing his corporate suit. It's a rare view to see him in just a plain white t-shirt.
Yanarym yawned at his dedication. The author who designed his character was such a cruel person. How could she not give Alyx time to sleep? All he did was work and work… that's tiring.
"You're still not sleeping?" She asked in a weak sleepy tone. She took a glass and poured water from the faucet on the fridge. While waiting for the glass to be filled, Alyx turned to her.
"Are you hungry? I'll heat the food for you." She shook her head gently and walked to see what he was doing. After seeing the stuff she couldn't understand she shifted her attention to him.
"I don't want to eat, I'm still sleepy." She softly said, Alyx held her waist with one arm and continued typing something on the keypad. Yanarym put her hands on his shoulder and yawned again. "You're not going to sleep?"
"I have to finish this." He answered her quickly.
