Inside the command car, Hu Hu sat down with a thud, the recent spectacle having genuinely startled him.
Even now, his arms felt somewhat stiff, and his back was drenched in cold sweat.
Fortunately, the target of that aircraft’s attack wasn’t them.
Although he had no idea how it managed that form of attack, it was clear that it was there to assist the Azure Dragon Army.
Looking at the enormous black aircraft in the sky, Hu Hu quickly got up and, in just a few steps, reached the nearby communication console, saying to a warrior there:
"Quick, quickly, send a radio signal to that aircraft!"
Upon hearing this, the person snapped back to reality and immediately began the operation.
Onboard the Dawn, Zhang Xiaoman saw that the immediate crisis here was temporarily resolved and was preparing to leave.
He planned to follow the vines below to find the monster’s main body and attack it directly, but suddenly the voice of the Star Rank rang out.
"Star Lord, an external signal has been detected, and upon source tracking, it seems to be emitted from the vehicle below. Would you like to receive it?"
Zhang Xiaoman paused, and in a change of thought, he understood—was this a phone call coming in? And should he answer it?
He hesitated for a moment, then ordered Star Rank to connect.
Meanwhile, Hu Hu was anxiously waiting for a result, not holding out much hope, as from previous encounters, it was obvious the other party had no intention of making contact with them.
But this time, just as he was waiting as if seconds were years, the young warrior suddenly shouted excitedly, "Connected!" Hu Hu immediately came back to his senses and quickly took the communicator.
"Hello, I am the Deputy Minister of the Abnormal Event Emergency Investigation Department, Hu Hu. I am very grateful for your assistance."
At the main control desk, a somewhat deep male voice sounded. Zhang Xiaoman paused for a moment, then responded:
"There’s no need for thanks; the Alien Species is our common enemy, and eliminating them is also our goal."
On the other end, after a slight pause, Hu Hu’s voice came through again.
"Sir, might we have a communication exchange? We need more intelligence about these... Alien Species."
"I’m sorry... Minister Hu, we are not yet ready to make contact with the outside world. If you need intelligence, we can share some available data with you."
Inside the command car, everyone felt somewhat disappointed upon hearing the first part of his response, but as Zhang Xiaoman spoke the next sentence, they immediately became spirited again.
What was most lacking for them now? Of course, it was information about these monsters!
Actually, with current technology’s power, dealing with these monsters was not a difficult task.
The main problem was that these monsters were too strange and many aspects couldn’t be assessed with common sense.
If the other party could provide information about them, it would undoubtedly be a huge help to them.
A smile appeared on Hu Hu’s face, and he quickly said into the communicator:
"I am very grateful for your help, but regarding the Alien Species, I believe we should have deeper communication. Is there a chance for us to meet and discuss this in person?"

It seemed this fellow also knew that it currently had no countermeasures against such units in the sky and wisely chose to retreat.

Looking at the area below covered in green, a smile appeared on Zhang Xiaoman’s face.
Now, just by killing its main body, those vines and such could probably be completely resolved, right?
Guiding the spacecraft downward, Zhang Xiaoman stood up and moved to the hatch, feeling the dense and heavy Dark Energy Fluctuation below; he had found his target.
After planning a battle strategy in his mind, Zhang Xiaoman stretched out his hand and, through the hatch, cast Soul Raiding Skill at the big guy below.
