He needed some test subjects to gauge which tier his strength truly lay in.

With one strike, he slashed a mid-level marquis among the Naga Mecha Demons, slicing its body in half.

The marquis-level powers around roared in rage, eyes bloodshot as they teamed up to attack.
Various terrifying divine skills and astonishing methods were all employed, surrounding Xu Gu.
Xu Gu’s expression showed no sign of disturbance.
Nor was there any defense.

The attacking marquis-level powers were overjoyed.
But the next moment, they abruptly discovered that all means and absolute skills that approached within hundreds of meters of Xu Gu turned into nothingness.
All the powerful figures present were taken aback, faces changing color.
