When Wanderers become Divine, naturally, others come to pledge their allegiance. To become Divine is the dream of Wanderers. Just think about Bai Yun and you’ll understand. He was admired by countless Wanderers. Unfortunately, Bai Yun did not have such aspirations. He had no intention of establishing power and preferred to cultivate on his own. Otherwise, the Five Alliances wouldn’t even exist.
Jiang Chen said with a smile, "Lefir acts quite swiftly; she knows the endless potential of Wanderers. She wouldn’t be thinking of establishing a force to rival the Continent of All-Gods, would she?"
"I don’t know," Trena replied. "It’s best for us to mind our own business."
"That’s true," Jiang Chen agreed.
The four found a hotel in Augustus City. After a Wanderer God appeared in Buxton City, the Wanderers from Augustus City rushed there, leaving few behind. Instead, Heroes from the Continent of All-Gods became the majority.
Jiang Chen took the lead in asking, "How much do you know about the Dreamspace?"
"Not much," Trena shook her head. "I only know it’s an independent space, exclusive to Incubi, and I’ve never been there."
Well, this is awkward. Nobody has been there? Then how could we go? What if we run into danger?
Er Xin said, "Jiang Chen, you protect us. I’ll lead them on a trip through the Dreamspace."
Jiang Chen nodded. "Okay, I’ll protect you all."
Daphne was not happy with this. How could she accompany them? If they encountered danger, what then? Moreover, inside the Dreamspace, it’s another independent world, a realm exclusive to Incubi. Daphne only trusted Jiang Chen, not Er Xin!
Daphne shook her head. "It’s better if Jiang Chen takes us; he’s more powerful."
Jiang Chen turned around. I’m more powerful? She’s a Divine, far more powerful than me.
Er Xin said, "I will ensure your safety."
Er Xin and Trena understood. She doesn’t trust us!
Jiang Chen then asked, "What about Qi Sha?"
Er Xin asked, "You want to find Qi Sha for protection?"
Jiang Chen explained, "Yes, an Incubus’s body contains an independent space, which should mean random teleportation. No matter where we’re sent, it’s unlikely for two people to end up in the same place. So, I suggest Qi Sha, or maybe One Sword, come here to protect our physical bodies. You go with Trena, and I’ll go with Daphne into the Dreamspace. This will be safer, and even within the Dreamspace, it’s uncertain whether we’ll be able to find each other!"
Who knows where we’ll be transported upon entering the Dreamspace? And after entering, how do we return to our bodies? We don’t know that either. In any case, we must be extremely careful.
Er Xin said, "Coincidentally, One Sword is here. I’ll contact him."

Daphne replied, "Of course. We’re Incubi."
Jiang Chen looked around the environment. This place was different from his own Dreamspace, which could change at any time. An Incubus’s Dreamspace, however, could not change. Within an Incubus’s Dreamspace, there was a lot of equipment—all obtained by Incubi after killing Heroes. Unfortunately, this equipment was useless here. The entire Dreamspace resembled a small valley, with mountains and water, the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers, and many butterflies fluttering around.
Daphne said, "You’re the first to enter my Dreamspace."
Jiang Chen smiled. "I’m incredibly honored."
"Every Incubus is born with their own Dreamspace, like a personal little world," Daphne continued. "I’ve been managing this place for a long time. By the way, where is that special place you mentioned?"
Daphne said, "Follow me."
Daphne led Jiang Chen toward the valley.
"I’ve explored my Dreamspace countless times," Daphne explained, "but there’s one place I haven’t checked: a cave in the valley."
Jiang Chen asked, "You haven’t gone in to look?"
Daphne replied, "I went in, and there’s a door inside, but I can’t find a way to open it. That should be the place. It’s very dangerous; every time I go near, I feel terrified. It’s as if that place is where my fears reside. They say fear is the food of Incubi, but who knew Incubi also feel fear within the Dream Realm."
Daphne led Jiang Chen into the cave. Just as they entered, Daphne clutched Jiang Chen’s hand tightly, a fear from the depths of her soul causing her to tremble involuntarily...
Incubi can feel fear in the Dream Realm too? Jiang Chen wondered.
Jiang Chen asked, "Are you scared?"
Daphne answered, "Yes, it’s a fear from deep within my soul, as if that door leads to hell. I don’t know why, but I feel that opening that door would plunge me into hell and lead to death."
Jiang Chen was puzzled. "Why would that be?"
Daphne said, "I don’t know."
Jiang Chen suggested, "Then maybe we should go back."
Daphne exclaimed, "How could we? I want to become Divine! I can’t go back. This is my chance, so you must stay with me."
The two continued forward. When they reached the end of the passage, Daphne’s hands trembled even more, and her heart beat rapidly...
Is she really that terrified?
There was a door, upon which was carved the figure of a woman. She had blue hair, a tall stature, and held a Divine Artifact, her gaze fixed on Daphne.
The moment Daphne saw the carving, her heart pounded violently... She was so frightened she collapsed to her knees.
Jiang Chen’s brows furrowed. "What’s going on?"
Daphne stammered, "I don’t know... It feels like... like my heart was struck."
Jiang Chen wondered, "Why don’t I feel anything?"
Daphne replied, "It’s probably because you’re not an Incubus, so you don’t feel it."
Jiang Chen said, "Sigh... you should go back then!"
"No... I can’t go back. I must become Divine!" Daphne declared, standing up and walking forward tremulously. "No one can stop me, or they die!"
In that moment, Daphne conquered her fear, reached the end, and pushed open the guarded door. What appeared before them was a desolate world—entirely gray, barren everywhere, with no plants or animals in sight.
Daphne and Jiang Chen stepped out beyond the door... CLICK. CLICK. The door immediately locked shut.
Jiang Chen turned and asked, "Is there a way back?"
"Yes, I can open the door anytime." As Daphne willed it, the door opened again. Seeing this, Jiang Chen breathed a sigh of relief; it was good they could return.
Daphne stared at the desolate world, unable to believe this was the Dreamspace.
Jiang Chen smiled. "This place seems a lot like the Battlefield of the Gods."
Daphne asked in disbelief, "Is the Rule of Dream really here?"
Could such a barren world truly hold the Rule of Dream? Daphne wondered.
Jiang Chen said, "I’m not sure. Let’s just take it one step at a time!"
The two of them walked on together, searching for Incubus Beasts and any trace of them.
Daphne said, "I feel like this place is my home."
Jiang Chen asked, "You were born here?"
Daphne replied, "Not exactly, but it gives me the feeling of returning home."
