Lin Shiyu’s beautiful eyes suddenly gave off a cold look.
Fu Qinglun walked in front of her and supported himself against the dresser with one hand, the other hand leaned against her chair. He surrounded her in his arms forcibly and narrowed his eyes while giving out a chuckle. “Our wedding night three years ago, shall I reenact the scene tonight with you, hm?”
Bam! Lin Shiyu forcefully shoved his palm away and her eyes flashed in warning. “What a pity. I know that you want to have fun with me, but unfortunately for you, I have no intention to play with you.”
“Hmph.” Fu Qinglun did not respond, instead he turned around and went into the bathroom.

Ten minutes later, the bathroom door opened, and Fu Qinglun stepped out. Dressed in navy blue pajamas made of the finest woken silk, his hair was still wet and light flecks of moisture could be seen. The expression on his face mirrored the cold aura he exuded.
As his frosty eyes scanned the room, they darkened when he saw that no one was present. The bed was empty. Lines marred his forehead as his eyebrows creased into a worried frown.
Where was she?
Just as he was about to walk around in search of her, he noticed a delicate figure lounged on the couch. Lin Shiyu had covered herself with a blanket and lay there peacefully.
Fu Qinglun stiffened, then found his eyes roaming over her. With her black, silky hair scattered on the white pillowcase, her eyes were closed and her eyelashes fanned among her flawless cheeks, enhancing her natural beauty.
He walked forward and towered above her. “Go and sleep on the bed.”
Lin Shiyu wasn’t asleep, but she didn’t want to deal with him. “Young Master Fu, I will sleep on the couch, you shall sleep on the bed.”
“Mrs Fu, what kind of gentleman do you think I am? With my upbringing, do you think I would allow a woman to sleep on the couch, while I slept comfortably on the bed? Or is it that you are waiting for me to carry you onto the bed?”
Hearing the challenge in his tone, Lin Shiyu wasted no time and opened her eyes, pushing her blanket away and walking towards the bed.
Since she had listened for once and gone to sleep on the bed, Fu Qinglun sat down on the couch and prepared to settle in for the night. The lighting in the room had been adjusted to a faint warm tinge that was was conducive for an easy sleep.
Despite everything, he couldn’t fall asleep.
The couch was full of her scent. Seeing as she had just spent some time there, her wonderful fragrance was permeating all of his senses and sending his mind in different directions, most notably towards the direction she had drifted. His throat was especially dry. Was it because of that dubious cup of tea that his unreliable mother sent him? He couldn’t tell.
All he knew was the hot blood pumping and coursing through his body, sending hot fire down to dangerous grounds.
Glancing over, she seemed to have fallen asleep on the bed without any trouble. Not able to stand it any longer, he got up after a few minutes and entered the shower again.
Lin Shiyu was truly sound asleep, but suddenly, she was awakened by an urgent need to go to the bathroom.
Having no choice, she opened her sleepy eyes and crawled out of the plush sheets, pulling open the door without any thought.
The next moment, her eyes widened and she stood, stunned. Her dazed sleepiness was gone in an instant.
Behind the frost glass door, Fu Qinglun stood under the shower head, the cold water running down his beautifully tanned skin. His head was down and the wet fringe covered his eyes, exuding a sexy vibe.
And his hand…
Upon hearing the sound, his head whipped up and eagle eyes darted to the door, where she stood, frozen. Hard, bloodshot eyes drilled into Lin Shiyu.
Time ground to a halt.
After what seemed to be an eternity of petrifying silence, Lin Shiyu blinked her eyes and let out a quiet breath, before she calmly let go of the doorknob. Turning around, she made to leave. “Sorry, this was a minor intermission, please ignore my existence and I’ll leave now. You may continue.”
Right after she took two steps, heavy footsteps could be heard behind her, and her slender wrist was captured. The man picked her up and carried her over his shoulder, directly placing her under the shower head.
Cold water continued to rain down from the shower head, drenching her from head to toe.
It was cold.
Lifting her eyes, she looked straight into his smouldering gaze and spoke slowly, every syllable clear and precise. “Fu Qinglun, what exactly do you want?”
