The performance of this book is not good, it’s a problem of my ability, not the subject matter. I always believe that the concept of "Death and Substitute" can be a great foundation for plot structure, but my writing skill, plot, writing style, and all sorts of messy things are not enough to fully showcase the excellent aspects of this concept.
I really hope this idea could become popular, and then I could see more books of the same type (teary-eyed).
Just like in Little World, though I haven’t seen any books of that type become a hit either, but I have come across well-written ones elsewhere, yet their updates are even slower than mine...
Let’s talk about the plot of the first volume.
Simply put, the first volume amalgamates many of my personal preferences.
The most obvious are Liaoyuan and the Invisible Guardian; playing with references remains one of my motivations for creation. The character Chen Fu is half inspired by a junior schoolgirl from the Invisible Guardian and half by a small fry in the Phoenix Assassin Group, among other characters infused with many Phoenix elements, but I won’t elaborate much.
However, the main source of the first volume’s plot actually came from a sudden thought I had:
"A group of girls on a train, eating a hot pot and singing, yet they don’t know their families are already dead."
Don’t ask me why I kind of plot; anyway, I just find it thrilling.
Of course, nothing is more thrilling than the changes in them after they learn the news of their family’s death, and the scene of Lex’s next meal with Qian Yuya... Ahem, getting carried away, not sure if I can even write that part.
Apart from this inexplicable idea, part of the plot for the first volume also came after I read the first volume of "Demon Exorcist"—’Faceless Man’—and found the plot twist of partners turning into enemies quite interesting.
Except for others, it was ’Partner jumped sides, I punched and shattered.’
Mine was ’Partner jumped sides, I got killed. Partner went god-like, I stole the partner’s account, I went god-like.’
Yes, that’s exactly the feeling.
The naive, immature, helpless main character, led by the nose, caught in all schemes, and made wedding clothes for others, then...
Everything others worked so hard to gain became the main character’s.
Though, that might not be what the main character wanted.
But hearing it , it seems, perhaps, might, a bit, not very satisfying?
Actually, there should be a way to write it very satisfyingly, but when I was writing it, I only thought it might be very interesting this way.
In the end, neither satisfying, perhaps also not interesting (teary-eyed).
Do you still want to make a living, Hear-day (teary-eyed).

When Little World started, I saw this boss claiming sovereignty just by the name. How do I deserve... anyway, there’s no book friend group or else I could flatter him till he doubts life.
I have a rough idea for the new volume’s plot, but I still need a day to rest and polish it, and incidentally clear out Jueya’s CD.
Hope the new volume can bring forth a more interesting plot.
