"3...2..." I heard the countdown in my head as i watched Emem closely and as I hit "1" I noticed the funny look in her eyes and i quickly stood up.
"Where are you off to, Heaven?" I heard Aisha ask. "don't you wanna try some of this good stuff?"
"Make an excuse and leave the party immediately; in two minutes she'll start bleeding everywhere. Remi! Leave now!" Roland screamed.
"Of course, but I'll be right back." I retreated back and said, "Save some for me".
I hadn't left the pool area when i heard a scream from behind.
"Don't turn around, just walk on"
"God that was close" I breathed out as I stepped into the party ground.
"You did a great job sis, now get your ass outta that party"
I was about to leave when I remembered Obinna's words; I wasn't going to let what happened the last time repeat itself, at least I'd try my best this time.
"I can't leave just yet, need to get everyone out of here" I muttered.
"Remi, are you insane? And how do you even intend on doing that?"
"Roland, I can't just watch this kids get killed"
"Remi you can't save the world, just leave! Now!"
I took a deep breath and whispered "I'm sorry, Roland"
"Wait, wait I heard that...What are you---" the line went dead, I'd switched the connection off.
I looked around at the group of party crazed ignorant animals and thought of a quick way to set them free. An idea struck.
I'd not only set them free, but I'll also end everything now. I grinned.

I woke up with a throbbing headache and feeling of pain all over my body. I tried to stand up but the pain got worse.
"Lay still young lady" I recognized the voice.
Roland.
At the sight of my brother, everything rushed back to me.
"I'm very sorry for disappointing and disobeying, I know I should have listened."
He gave me a confused look.
"What are to saying? Listen to rest okay, you'll be fine and out of here soon. "
"That's what you're saying right now, I know it's bad" I cried.
"What's bad, Remi?" he had the confused expression on his face
"The fire burns, I set the entire building on fire and got myself burnt"
"Doc, what's she talking about?" my brother looked up in confusion at a man in white.
"She'll be alright, she just need time."
"I dissapointed Mum, Dad and Rotimi"
"What are you saying, Mum is on her way, she went to get a change of clothing for you, I just got off the phone with Dad not too long ago, he send his love, and Timi left here 4 days ago, he was here all day and all night, but he's got to go to school."
Now I was the confused one.
"Roland, you're in denial, Our parents are dead, the Bitch Aisha murdered them, remember?"
"Which Aisha are you talking about, your best friend? She's in the other Room, she'll fine; she asked to see you, but you both needed to be hale enough."
"What's happening? How can Aisha be my best friend, why and how is Roland even in Nigeria, where are the Changs? What's..."
"She's finally up?!! Oh thank God! Thank you God!"
"No that's impossible, that can never be... She's dead, I saw her corpse"
"Mum?" I asked the exact replica of my late mother standing right in front of me.
"Yes baby, it's me! It's glad to finally have you back."
"Mum, is this heaven? Are we in heaven?"
I saw mum give the doctor a questioning look.
"Master and Madam Martin's, I suggest that you give your girl enough time to recuperate. She's been in coma for a month and some days, the bus accident was terrible and she's probably exhibiting expectable act of minor temporary amnesia. She just needs to rest, I need you all to leave for now"
I was about to protest, but I felt myself drift off and the last thing I saw was the reassuring smile from the doctor.

It's been more than a month since i left the hospital and I'm laying face down in my room and smiling to myself. The doctor was right, I was actually under temporary amnesia, and in a few days i solved the puzzle piece by piece.
We were going on an excursion to Badagry when our bus lost its break causing a disastrous accident that claimed half the lives of my classmates. I'm guessing that's where the entire dead people at a party came from.
The last person I spoke to on the phone before the accident was Rotimi, so I'm guessing that's why he got the role of the supporting character in the story I made in my head.
Aisha my best friend, was seated right beside me and we were talking about Cliché highschool books and movies and how they always had mean characters; before the accident and I'm guessing that's where the entire mean girl plot came from.
My Boyfriend Obinna always like to talk about his love for online shopping, and I'm guessing that's why he got the role in my head.
The entire dream was interesting, adventurous and invigorating, but I'm actually glad it was only a dream, I'm glad to have my family intact, my face perfect and my friend around me.
One night i confided in dad and told him everything, my dreams and all.
The next morning, he rushed into my room, hyperventilating dramatically as he accessed my face. He took a minute or two before sighing and saying; "Yep, You're That Girl...and not some Asian freak"
