"Does your friend love the man?" Martha asked; before proposing a solution, she wanted to ensure that her own boss wasn’t forced or had misplaced affection.
"Yes." Ivy’s response couldn’t be quicker. She never doubted her feelings for Silas.
"Then... I indeed have a solution."
"What is it?" Ivy asked, and for a moment, she even had the urge to jump inside Martha’s brain and see what was going on in her mind.
Martha took a deep breath. "Step one: ask your friend to seduce the man to her side."
’Sorry, boss... if I didn’t realize your EQ was so low after chatting with you, I wouldn’t have to take such extreme steps.’
She had read many cliché novels and could conclude one thing. By the time FL and ML clear up all the misunderstandings and take things to the next step, it is only after 3 years of misunderstanding and 5 years of separation.
Instead of going through so much, it would be better if Ivy skipped all the steps and directly reached the lovemaking session.

"But... that’s..." Ivy couldn’t bring herself to point out what was wrong. Seduce Silas? But... wasn’t he going to be engaged? And he was finally happy... if she intervenes now, won’t he be sad again?
"Miss Ivy, just listen to me. Maybe the man still has feelings for you...your friend. After all, who can forget their loved ones in 3 days? As for engagement... neither of them loves the other anyway. One is after food, the other is after misplaced love."
"But the substitute..." Ivy bit her lips. The truth was... she disliked Patricia, but never did she think of taking revenge on the other woman.

Seeing the despair and confusion on Ivy’s face, Martha took a deep breath.

Like a brave soldier, Martha pressed on.
"Just give the substitute compensation. Like a permanent residency in the base as well as a stable job."
Ivy tapped on the table and thought for a long while before replying, "I... I will think about it."
Martha sighed. She knew that Rome wasn’t built in a day. But since Ivy was hesitating, it proved at least that there was some progress.
With that thought, she advised, "Alright then. I will leave."
Ivy stared at Martha’s back with a troubled gaze. Truly... in this life, she either has an attitude of killing or being grateful... other than that... Ivy hardly ever felt such a dilemma.
Suddenly, on her right side, a small miniature Ivy wearing white clothes and having a golden halo, was floating a certain distance from her head, and her angelic voice sounded,
"Ivy, leave them. Let them live a good life. That’s the right path."
Another miniature wearing black clothes and having red horns with a trident appeared on the left side; she had an evil expression (which looked adorable instead) as she whispered in a tempting voice,
"Ivy doesn’t hold back. Silas was the one who had promised you in the first place that he would wait for you. Now is the time to test the truth in his words. Just go and seduce him till the point that he forgets Patricia and wants to marry you."
"Hey! That’s a bad deed!" The angelic Ivy protested.
"What? It’s an apocalypse; there is no one to judge her anyway!" The devil Ivy was nonchalant.
"Can’t you think about Silas’s happiness?" The angelic Ivy shouted.
"Bae, the moment she gives him a blow job or anything further, he will be the happiest man on earth." The devil Ivy blew her nails.

Patricia returned to Talia’s home, and after making sure that no one had followed her inside the home (many invisible superhumans nowadays have learned to rob in new ways), she took out the pink hair wig and sat on the sofa, trembling all over.
Taking out the wig cap, her natural black hair cascaded down, making her look completely different from Ivy.
After a good half an hour, Patricia regained her courage and typed the message to Silas,
She paused before typing out another message, "Are you sure this will work? I still think it is better if you take part in this drama and act alongside me. It will be more believable."
Patricia didn’t want the drama to drag along. She had a premonition... if she acted for more than 4 days, she would die before her boyfriend did.
She just needs to agitate Ivy quickly to the point that Ivy takes action, and then... Patricia can finally run away from that demon woman with scary eyes.
"No," Silas messaged calmly.
The mere thought of touching another woman filled him with disgust, not to mention, if he dared to appear in front of Ivy with another woman... God knows how much she will cry... he couldn’t bear it either.
Others might call him disgusting for even hiring a woman, but he knew that as long as a person doesn’t feel a crisis, they won’t take action.
He has already laid out the trap, and the final step still requires his wife to jump in. Since he can’t force her, it’s better to resolve the knot before taking any further steps.
Ivy should understand that now she should confront him and then resolve the misunderstanding. Finally, she will let go of whatever doubt and suspicion she had in her mind about being a jinx.
