The soldiers felt relieved by the lowered temperature and finally pulled out their guns and started killing the zombies. Seeing this, the Phantom team members pulled their airguns and lent them to the soldiers.
“Comrade, why did you give us your guns?” one of the soldiers asked with doubt.
“Just use it. My team’s guns have unlimited bullets,” Yu Fuyun said as he pulled his gun’s trigger.

He thought his friend was no longer alive after being kidnapped by the human traffickers. He never expected him to end up at the hands of those bastards and be turned into this.
Anger rose in his heart when he thought of how much torture his friend had endured during the experiment process. He punched the ground and said through gritted teeth, “Pei Xun, I will definitely kill you.”
Now that he had found out the identity of this mutant, he could no longer treat him as an object. Without unbinding the vines on Fu Guai’s body, he carried him to the pond.
Holding onto his jaw, Jin Xuyan pried his mouth open and used a ladle to feed him the pond water. As the water entered his mouth, Fu Guai’s Adam’s apple rolled, and he drank the water.
He was like a robot without any emotions or feelings. Even when his nape was stabbed with a dagger, he didn’t let out a sound, nor frown.
After he finished feeding him the pond water, Jin Xuyan checked on Fu Guai’s wound. The moment he saw that the wound had already scabbed over, his eyes widened in surprise.
He thought for a while before muttering, “It seems that they are not only turning you into a mutant but also altering your DNA using mine.”
