"Feng Xiu, you know me. I would never harm my friend, let alone kill him," Rong Qinyu said with a frown.

Feng Xiu stared at him for a long time before she asked, "Are you really Rong Qinyu?"
When he heard her question, Rong Qinyu suddenly chuckled and said, "Feng Xiu, if I’m not Rong Qinyu, then who am I?"
After he said this, the metal rope tying him suddenly loosened and turned into a metal ball. Holding the ball, he said, "Feng Xiu, don’t you know who has been sharing your bed for so long?"

Inside the ring of cloud dust, a zombie with the body of an infant but the limbs and head of a locust was spitting out a fireball at the guards.

Before the fireball managed to hit the guards, two fireballs flew from the side and collided with it in midair.
The moment the fireballs exploded, Rong Mo’er glanced at the man standing on the opposite side and nodded.
Seeing this, Wang Jie nodded back at her before he turned to his team leader and asked, "Sister Wei, this zombie is too strong. We can’t win against it. What should we do now?"
Sister Wei looked around for a moment and said, "The children and survivors are still here. We have to hold it back while they evacuate."
Not long after she finished, a young man rushed toward the zombie holding a dagger in both hands. When he was near, the zombie suddenly opened its mouth and spat a huge fireball toward him.

The zombie let out an angry roar and swung its foreleg, covered with countless sharp, glistening blades, aiming at Jian Ziqin’s head.

Using both daggers, Jian Ziqin managed to block the attack. Noticing the zombie’s mouth opening again, he stepped on the zombie’s foreleg and leaped into the air.

As his speed increased, he managed to stab his daggers into the back of the zombie’s head.

Jian Ziqin let go of the daggers as he barely managed to dodge the attack. Although he wasn’t hit in vital points, his chest was still struck, and he was sent flying, falling to the ground with a loud thud.
Everything happened in less than a minute. When Xun Che arrived on the nearest building’s rooftop, he saw the young man coughing blood while the zombie dashed toward him.
Standing twenty meters away from the battle scene, he narrowed his eyes. Soon after, the zombie suddenly stiffened and stopped moving.
Seizing the opportunity, Lin Fei rushed over and swung his large sword, similar to the double-handed swords used by berserkers in most games.
Crack!
Thanks to Jian Ziqin’s earlier attack, the daggers stuck in the zombie’s neck pierced through the hard shells, allowing Lin Fei to behead the zombie with one smooth motion.

The zombie’s head fell to the ground as black blood spurted like a fountain, staining the ground as the thick, rancid scent filled the air.
After Lin Fei split the zombie’s head and took out the crystal core, everyone cheered in joy.
