“Auntie loves to tease me.” Meng Ziqi didn’t expect Jin Lan to be so blunt. She shyly lowered her eyes, but couldn’t help but lift them again, secretly glimpsing Jin Chenye’s reaction from the corner of her eye.

She walked briskly to the window, flung it open.
Leaning her hands on the windowsill, she took deep breaths.
