Chapter 247: I Request a Day Off
“If you can’t guess, you will owe me.”
Dan Hanjie hoisted someone sideways and strode upstairs.
“Wait, I want to protest!” As soon as Qin Youxuan entered the room and saw the big bed, she immediately grabbed the door handle and refused to let go.
“Dan Hanjie, I’m on my period!”
On an impulse, Qin Youxuan blurted out without thinking.
Dan Hanjie paused, lowered his gaze to glance at her, his face full of skepticism.
“Really, really! Just let me go home today…” Qin Youxuan joined her hands together, pleading while making a pitiful face.
“I won’t touch you.” Dan Hanjie said, softening his gaze. He gently placed her on the bed, gentler than usual, since he heard about her period.
Qin Youxuan was overwhelmed by guilt. She slowly turned around, raised her head, and looked at him. “Well, it would be more convenient if I can go home. I’m restless in my sleep. What if I stain your bed? That would be terrible.”
“I won’t give you a chance to move restlessly.”
She knew that he liked to hold her while sleeping, but she didn’t know he liked it to this extent.
When she was at the Qin family’s, he would even climb through the window in the middle of the night to be with her.
Now, even when she falsely claimed to be on her period, he still did not let her go.
“Dan Hanjie, even work has breaks, why every time you sleep you want to hold me? I request one day off.”
His refusal left no room for negotiation.

Qin Youxuan had to go back to Qin family’s place and change her clothes before she could go to work.
The car in front suddenly stopped. Qin Youxuan couldn’t brake in time and rear-ended it.
Qin Youxuan recalled her last car accident where she injured someone. She quickly pushed the car door open.
As soon as she got out of the car, she was taken aback.
There was a limited-edition Rolls-Royce Phantom sports car parked in front of her, whose rear end was slightly deformed from the collision. But compared to her car, hers seemed more like the one being hit.
The front of her car was severely concave, even the hood was seriously deformed.
Not to mention the car paint was totally chipped off.
