“Don’t want to admit it?” The man frowned, displeased by her continued silence.
A white shirt paired with black suit trousers was a simple yet elegant attire.
Two buttons of his shirt were undone, revealing an equally fair chest.
His face was a bit pale, not alarmingly so, but still far from a healthy complexion.

“You suddenly stopped, and I couldn’t brake in time. That’s why I hit you, sir. The responsibility isn’t entirely mine.” Qin Youxuan hesitated slightly before recovering from her surprise, logically explaining in English.
“So, you want me to compensate?” The man arched an eyebrow conspicuously.
“You couldn’t brake in time, which is your problem. You caused me to hit my forehead. I might need to go to the hospital for a check-up.” The man unpinned his fringe to reveal a red spot.
Evidence that he had indeed been hurt in the collision.
“How about this – you accompany me to the hospital for the check-up. If everything turns out fine, you won’t need to compensate for the car.” Seeing that Qin Youxuan remained silent, the man generously made another proposal.
Qin Youxuan hesitated. She recalled the last time she accidentally hit someone and subsequently got swindled, which made her instinctively resist his proposal.
She went back to her car, took out a pen and paper, swiftly wrote down her name and contact number, and handed it to him.
“We are both responsible for this accident, especially since my car is more seriously damaged than yours. I’m afraid I’m not in a position to compensate you for your vehicle’s repair costs.
