Bai Wei was shook with surprise, her eyes opening wide with astonishment.

He had actually acknowledged that woman!
Bai Wei’s face went deathly pale as she took a few steps back, staring in disbelief at the furious Dan Hanjie.
She wished the words she had just heard were nothing more than an illusion.
Dan Hanjie, with his eyes narrowed, turned towards the butler standing by the door, his voice cold and aloof. “Take Miss Bai to rest and pack up her luggage. Once she has had enough rest, send her back to America.”
Having said that, Dan Hanjie left the room immediately, without giving Bai Wei a chance to protest.
Watching his retreating figure, she fell limply to the ground, all strength leaving her body.
“When did she leave?”
Dan Hanjie quickly exited the grand entrance of Yujing Villa, his whole body emanating a strong, wild aura.
He stared at the gate keeper with hawk-like eyes.
“Miss Qin, Miss Qin left an hour ago. Miss Bai had just returned at that time and all the brothers were called to help pack up her luggage, so…”
The guards’ faces were covered in cold sweat.
“Very good. You can’t even keep an eye on someone, and you’ve learned to make excuses too!” Dan Hanjie’s expression darkened and his fists clenched.
“Mercy, Mr. Jie!” The guards simultaneously knelt, knocking their heads repeatedly in a frenzied apology.
Assistant Yao had just arrived at the entrance to see this scene and he quickly approached.
“Mr. Jie, we have verified with the Qin family. Miss Qin has not returned there. Someone saw her walk out of the villa and head towards East Street. It’s been over an hour by now. We have no idea where she is…”
Before Yao could finish, he was interrupted by Dan Hanjie who had already started his car, and quickly drove out of Yujing Villa.
Upon seeing this, the guards all breathed a sigh of relief.
“Thank you, Assistant Yao!”
“No need to thank me. If we don’t find her, I won’t be able to save you all either,” Yao stated, his gaze following the direction Dan Hanjie had taken, his eyes tightening.
This was the first time he had seen Mr. Jie so anxious about someone…
“Don’t just kneel there, if you want to live, notify everyone and mobilize all forces to find Miss Qin as soon as possible!”
Dan Hanjie drove with one hand while constantly dialing Qin Youxuan’s number with the other, only to be met with a busy signal.
Dan Hanjie, gripped by frustration, threw the phone towards the steering wheel.
Damn woman, where the hell is she hiding!
She didn’t bring her bag or phone. The area around was mostly empty. Where could she have gone?
Dan Hanjie aimlessly drove around, sweeping his gaze across each intersection while circling the villa, but saw no trace of Qin Youxuan.
Just as he was about to reverse back to the villa, his eyes caught sight of a shoe lying by the street. He slammed on the brakes immediately.
He quickly got out of the car and walked over to the shoe, observing it closely.
But where had she gone?
Dan Hanjie lifted his head and glanced around, but saw no one in the vicinity.
They were quite a distance from Yujing Villa and it was not in the direction of the Qin family residence. Where was she headed, walking out this far alone?
Dan Hanjie clenched his fists, anger creeping onto his lips.
Almost convincingly, he knew she had no plans on returning to the Qin family home and seemed to be wandering around aimlessly instead.
The problem was, which direction did she go?
After a few moments of hesitation, Dan Hanjie swiftly got back into the car and drove off in the direction of the shoe.
