Chapter 285: I’ll Follow You From Now On
Black, endless blackness.
The doors and windows were black, the walls were black, the table was black… Everywhere she looked was black.
A gloomy aura engulfed her; Qin Youxuan’s eyes narrowed, and she nervously stepped back, pressing herself against the door panel.
Who would decorate a study room ?
If one didn’t know better, they might believe they had stepped into hell, all dark and oppressive…
“Are you scared? If I told you this is my world, would you still want to enter?” Dan Hanjie turned his back, walked from behind his large black desk to her, looking down at her pale face with a superior gaze.
He saw fear in her eyes, her hand clenched into a fist by her side.
He was a business tycoon in Fico City, his world should be filled with riches and splendor, how could it be black…
The images of them being chased down in Pittsburgh flashed through Qin Youxuan’s mind. She shivered!
“Tell me now, what’s your decision.” Dan Hanjie held her chin, forcing her to look at him, demanding an answer with a cold voice.
Upon meeting his deep gaze, Qin Youxuan’s tense nerves surprisingly relaxed.
Her little hand pulled on his sleeve, without uttering a word.
Her action, however, said it all.
“Dan Hanjie, I’m afraid to be in this darkness alone, can I stay with you from now on?”
Dan Hanjie’s body jolted, a bright light filled his enchanting eyes, he pulled her petite body tightly into his arms.
The next second, he leaned down and kissed her lips.
Kissing her fiercely, without any reservation.
Feeling his unusual aura, Qin Youxuan didn’t step back but instead got on her tiptoes, wrapping her arms around his neck naturally.
The two gradually calmed down.
“Once you enter my world, you won’t be able to get out. Are you sure you have no regrets?” Dan Hanjie said while holding an unsteady Qin Youxuan, his lips curved into a slight smirk.
Seeing her nod affirmatively, he held her small hand and walked toward the wall near the desk.
His large hand pressed on the edge of the wall, and the sealed study room window slowly opened.
The blinding sunlight poured in, illuminating the dark space.
Qin Youxuan couldn’t stand the sudden strong light and subconsciously raised her hand to shield her eyes, but her face was pressed into Dan Hanjie’s chest.
His tall figure shielded her from everything.
“So there’s such a design. I thought you were a devil who could work even in the darkness. Now it looks less scary.” Qin Youxuan popped her head out from his chest, glanced at the study room that had returned to normal, and sighed.
“Didn’t you want to know about my relationship with Wei’er? Come with me.”
Dan Hanjie walked to his desk, quickly punched a few numbers on the keypad, and the bottom drawer popped open instantly.
The dark drawer was filled with items, with a picture frame on top.
The surface was very clean. It was obvious that he often picked it up to look at it; there was not a speck of dust on it.
Qin Youxuan glimpsed the picture frame in his hand, her petite body sat down on his thigh, curiously leaned forward to take a closer look.
There were two people in the photo, both very handsome, one of them was Dan Hanjie, the other she didn’t recognize.
Qin Youxuan tried to remember, but she didn’t recall this person from her memory.
The man looked very handsome and radiated a sunny aura.
Even in front of a charming man like Dan Hanjie, he didn’t seem any less appealing.
