Chapter 328: Forget What You Just Saw
Qin Youxuan looked up, meeting Dan Hanjie’s deep gaze, revealing a touch of coldness.
She was stunned, motionless.
“Ye, what’s wrong with you?”
Meng Ziqi’s exclamation was particularly sharp, and Qin Youxuan turned her head subconsciously to look in Jin Chenye’s direction.
Jin Chenye’s tall figure remained unmoved, his phone had fallen to the ground, but he showed no reaction. He was just staring straight at Qin Youxuan, who was wrapped in Dan Hanjie’s arms.
His gaze was clear, cold, complex.
Next to him, Meng Ziqi anxiously shouted his name several times, but he didn’t respond.
Before Qin Youxuan could react, she was dragged out of the courtroom by Dan Hanjie and tossed into a car.
The car sped away from the courthouse with a whoosh.
It all happened so fast that she didn’t have time to react.
The car came to a sudden stop.
Qin Youxuan was still lost in the scene of Jin Lan being declared not guilty and released. She was jolted forward without a clue of what was happening.
She grabbed the seatbelt to keep herself from hitting the windshield.
She turned her head in perplexity to look at Dan Hanjie.
“Forget him!” Dan Hanjie gritted his teeth and growled.
Qin Youxuan was stunned, not understanding what he meant.
What was she supposed to forget for no apparent reason?
“Forget what you just saw!” Dan Hanjie grabbed her chin tightly, causing Qin Youxuan to wince in pain.
She tried to push his hand away but found that he was holding her very tightly, and she couldn’t shake him off.
“Dan Hanjie, you’re hurting me…”
“Don’t let me see you looking at him like that again, I’m afraid I won’t be able to control myself.” Dan Hanjie tightened his grip, making Qin Youxuan speechless. She could only stare at him wide-eyed.
What was he trying to say? She couldn’t understand a word.
After a few moments of thought, Qin Youxuan vaguely sensed something. She gasped for breath as she tried to pry his hand off her.
“Are you, are you jealous?” As soon as Qin Youxuan finished speaking, she saw Dan Hanjie’s momentarily uneasy expression and her eyes widened in surprise.
This was unbelievable.
Dan Hanjie was actually jealous.
This was even more shocking than Jin Lan being declared not guilty and released…
She must have guessed wrong.
Qin Youxuan watched as his hand slowly released its grip. She quickly started to rub her chin.
With his forceful grip, she thought he was going to dislocate her chin.
“Yes, I am jealous.” Dan Hanjie declared word by word, domineeringly glaring at Qin Youxuan, “So, don’t let me see you flirting with him again, I might strangle you.”
Where was the flirting?
She was just surprised to hear that Jin Lan had been declared not guilty. She was too stunned to look away.
Does this count as flirting? Was she not even allowed to look at other men anymore?
“Yes, aside from Jin Chenye, you’d better not look at other men either, Qin Youxuan. I will get jealous.” Dan Hanjie’s indifferent voice, every word the popped out was particularly clear.
It seemed that he hadn’t realized how out of character it was for him to say he was jealous.
Qin Youxuan touched her nose, feeling awkward and unsure of how to react.
She hadn’t said anything, and yet he had seen through her. In the future, could they communicate with cryptic language?
Qin Youxuan moved her gaze to the window and realized she was in an unfamiliar place. She asked with confusion.
“You’re trying to change the subject. It’s too obvious, I can tell.” Dan Hanjie mercilessly saw through her intentions, leaving Qin Youxuan speechless.
She could only stare at him breathlessly for a moment, not knowing what to say.
