The scream of that man filled the area, sending birds away from their location in surprise. Zhan Jing also stopped moving them with high speed as they were only a few steps away from the bottom. His face was pale as beads of sweat filled his forehead.
"Master, are you alright?" Ye Jiao quickly stood up and approached her master. A hand blocked her way.
Zhan Jing smiled. "There’s no need to worry so much. With enough rest, I’ll be alright. Let’s return back to the ship."
"Yes, Master."
Even though they were still worried about him, they knew that Zhan Jing wouldn’t want to listen to them. He took out an Eon Energy Pill and ate it to replenish his Eon Energy. It was the same as the other three as he gave them one each except Qin Zheng who has his own.
"After we’ve recovered enough. We have to leave."
"So fast?"
Qi Huan nodded. "They’re going to find out that the inheritance for this time is no more. At that time, I’ll be placed in danger because they might target me, so I have to return back home as soon as possible."
"Will your father protect you?" Ye Jiao asked worriedly. Recalling how Lu Wan was treated in his own household, she hoped that it wouldn’t be the same with Qi Huan. After all, it was not good to be treated as air by your own family member.
"Don’t worry. He will."
For a moment, Qi Huan’s eyes flashed with a glint. He knew what his father wanted and many others, so he would surely find a way to make sure of his own safety.

"There’s no need to worry about him. He’s not termed as the most talented and genius person in Chi Kingdom for nothing," Zhan Jing smiled as he patted the girl’s head. "And that ability is not only limited to his martial art’s talent."
Ye Jiao glanced at her master’s eyes before nodding her head. She felt unwilling because she knew how complicated things could be in a large family from what she had seen in Lu Wan’s family after staying there for some time. In addition, things in Wei Family also didn’t seem to be so peaceful with how her mother constantly clashed with them.
Those with large families have much more complicated family matters than most people.
"Now that we have recovered, let’s go."
"Yes, Master."
All they could do was walk to the location of their ship. Of course, it was not a peaceful journey because a lot of beasts were going after them as soon as they appeared.
They stopped when they were only a few steps away from the ship. Zhan Jing pointed to the front. "You two get into the ship and stay there until I return back. I’ll escort Qi Huan back to his family first."
"Will you come to see us again, Senior Brother Qi?" Ye Jiao asked worriedly.
Qi Huan nodded. "I’ll go to Chen Kingdom again after everything is over. You just need to wait for me at the headquarter."
"Alright, if you say so. Take care!"
The two of them departed while Ye Jiao and Qin Zheng headed back to the ship. Looking at the fine condition of the ship, Qin Zheng circled it in curiosity. His eyes caught the sight of several weird shapes around the ship that was imbued with Eon Energy.
"I see, so he used it."
"What is that?" Ye Jiao tilted her head. She could faintly sense Eon Energy coming from the strange shape that was engraved into the ship, but she couldn’t really see anything special from it.
"These are runes made of Eon Energy," Qin Zheng pointed at the shapes. "It’s one of the jobs that only Eon Energy Master rank 3 or above could possibly have."
"Jobs?" Ye Jiao’s eyes glittered. All this time, she has only seen the people around her having normal jobs, so it never crossed her mind that there might be other special jobs for Eon Energy Master except for guards and pill makers.
Qin Zheng straightened his body. "You’ll know about them later."
"Hey! You keep on saying that!"
"There’s no need for you to know about them when you’re not even Eon Energy Master rank 3."
"I’ll break through soon enough!"

Ye Jiao pursed her lips. There were so many things about the place outside of the Four Kingdoms that she got from both her master and Qin Zheng. But really, these two always kept a tight lip on them. Was it bad if she wanted to know?
Seeing the nonchalant expression on the boy’s face, Ye Jiao got the urge to hit him. That way, she might be able to feel a bit better.
The two of them didn’t have to wait long for Zhan Jing. Soon afterwards, they departed back to the main island as the island started to sink back. A lot of people were scrambling to return back as soon as possible or they would be trapped in the island for three full years.
No one would want that.
After they reached the dock, Zhan Jing got down first. He looked at the two of them. "I’m going to do some business here. You two can depart first if you want. I’ll check on your training in Chen Kingdom later, Ai Jiao."
"Got it."
Qin Zheng waved his hand. "Don’t miss me. You’re not going to meet with me anymore."
"No one will miss an arrogant brat like you."
"That’ll be too good to come true."
Zhan Jing smiled bitterly at the boy’s remark. Fine, he would not try to speak anything anymore. Bidding his farewell, he disappeared from their sight soon enough.
Ye Jiao stretched her body. "Now that the exploration is over. It’s time for me to return back to Chen Kingdom. Where do you want to go now, Qin Zheng?"
"Don’t use my surname here," Qin Zheng warned once more. "I’ll be going to Chen Kingdom too, so let’s get going."
"Wait, I have to go with you?"
"It’s safer."
"I can protect myself!"
"With your small arms?"
"You-!"
For the return journey, it was another episode of two children fighting all the way. Both Ye Jiao and Qin Zheng were unwilling to be the one to lose as they kept on attacking each other. However, it was all only at the level of banter.
