"Dad, HE’S LYING! I’m not the one who did it!" Lu Zhi screamed again. "HE’S THE ONE WHO WANTS TO KILL ME!"
Lu Wan just pursed his lips without the intention to reply anymore. He merely looked back at his father and brother, who were looking at the two of them with a complicated look.
Lu Changqing waved his hand. "Call a doctor and escort Lu Zhi back to her room. No one shall say any word regarding this matter."
"Dad?" Lu Zhi was surprised. "DAD! YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME! HE-HE-HE’S TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU....LET ME GO!"
Lu Wan watched quietly as Lu Zhi was dragged away by the servants. His eyes were looking at his father as if he had guessed that it would turn this way. "I can see that you never place much importance in me, Father. Even when someone wants to kill me, you expect me to stay silent, don’t you?"
"Lu Wan..."
"Don’t say that you didn’t," Lu Wan cut off his father. For the first time, he dared to so as he always only said that he understood in front of his father. His eyes were looking back at his father fervently. "Am I truly your son, Father?"
Lu Changqing looked back at Lu Wan. "Yes, you’re my son."
"But you never want me, don’t you?"
This time, Lu Changqing didn’t reply. He merely looked back at Lu Wan with an indifferent expression.

"Tell them that I will no longer interfere with Lu Wan’s matter. He no longer has any relation with our family, and they’re free to do as they wish. Whatever happens to him will no longer concern me."
As soon as he finished giving instruction, Lu Changqing walked away heading towards his office. Behind him, Lu Su merely looked at his father’s departing back. He looked back at his own hand and sighed.
