As for the origin of the monsters, I think that they were probably created even before the time of former Emperor Shen.
At the very least, I was able to confirm that Shen did not know of their existence, so I assumed that these monsters were not created by him.
Demon King Finar also said, “…Perhaps there was a history of the emperor distributing monsters to high-ranking nobles in exchange for their cooperation.” And since no record of such a thing could be found, there may have been a considerable backroom deal.
There were still many unknowns, such as the detailed timing of the summoning, why these daggers had not been used until now, and who owned them, but… well, I did not need to get involved in those matters anymore.
But I have not finished everything yet. Until we finish the Magic Festival, all of this terrorism would not yet end.
But it would not be my job to pursue this mystery. There was only so much I could do.
…No, that was a lie. I simply would have to play a minor role in this.
I couldn’t wait to go back to being a mere demon king and spend my days just relaxing with my family.

Normally, my kids should be born earlier than Rir’s, but I believe the gestation period of dogs should be shorter…well, I have no idea how long it should be with Fenrirs, but I guess Rir’s kids would be born around the time my kids would be born. I think.
Rir’s children…they would be so cute, so fluffy, so silky, and so adorable.
I hoped they would grow up as siblings with my children.
“We’ll both have to work even harder from here on out.” (Yuki)
I clenched my fist against Rir’s forehead.
The days passed as we prepared for the Magic Festival.
I helped clean up the aftermath of the terrorist attacks, attended political meetings at the Demon King Finar’s request, hunted slightly stronger monsters around the empire, discussed construction progress with the dwarves, devised tricks, and accompanied the Royal Guard knights as they practiced for their competitions.
Various problems have continued to occur recently, but after a break, things have somehow started to go smoothly.
Well, that didn’t mean that the problems were completely gone. To begin with, we were in the middle of trying something new, and for various reasons, the Magic War Festival had to be held later than originally planned.
If we had to move it up, we would have to rethink the various plans we had made, and I was listening to a conversation between the Demon King Finar and the Dwarf King Doda.
“Hey, we’ve already accelerated the construction work a lot! You still want us to speed it up?” (Dwarf King)
“But you can do it, can’t you? Please, we’ll cooperate with you. We need it. Please.” (Finar)
“…well, we’ll just have to stop building some of them and focus on the construction of the main building to make up for it, and then we can…”
“Oh, I’m sorry, but everything we need to make, must be made. All the facilities we are building are necessary.”
“Are you trying to make me die of exhaustion?”
–I remember well the exchange between the two.
It was a terrible thing that everything went according to Demon King Finar’s plan, since there was no way that we could defeat him with our words.
I heard that Dwarf King Doda had to hire several times as many people as he had initially planned, and this must have more than doubled his workload.
It looked like they were really busy, so I even helped with the construction work where I could do the heavy lifting.
The guards were very upset, saying that it was not something they would let His Majesty do, but even if they had said so, I had no choice because there was no time, so I pushed through and helped with the construction, saying that it was “necessary”.
To be honest, it was easier than working as the emperor.
Thanks to the Dwarf King’s hard work, all the construction around the stadium was able to proceed to the point where it could be completed, and the stadium itself was ready for operation after some minor details were taken care of.
