The moment Elaina accepted the challenge, the two gods who communicated with Elaina regularly started to voice out their concerns and disapproving notions about the choice Elaina had made.

Elaina led the First Princess into an empty area of the field since a few parts of the area had yet to be planted by Elaina and cleared out the weeds. It is a perfect place for Elaina and the First Princess to fight.

Julia shook her head and smiled. "I believe in Sis! So you should believe in your sister too. After all, this is just a friendly match. We can even have a bet on who will win."
While the two are already placing their bets on the combatants, the prince looks at the two with great interest while the guards are not sure what is happening.
"Uh...sir, may I ask why the First Princess decided to challenge a farmer?" one of the guards asked.
"Shh, just watch and see. We will then know if what the intel said is true.
The guards are confused but the prince won’t say anything so the only option they have is to watch the battle unfold.
"Miss Elaina, I hope you are ready," the First Princess begins by drawing her sword out of the scabbard and throwing it away, while Elaina remains calm as she holds her sword in the scabbard, remaining nonchalant and full of openings.
"You should attack first as you are the one who challenged me," Elaina gave the first strike.
"I hope you won’t regret it," the first princess didn’t hesitate to attack as she disappeared from where she stood just now and reappeared in front of Elaina as she swung down her sword.
But Elaina blocks the sword attack using her sword that is still sheathed on the scabbard. The scabbard alone held the sword like nothing.
Elaina then deflected the attack before striking the first Princess’s stomach with the scabbard’s end.
"Urgh!" the first princess immediately got sent flying but she immediately recovered and before landing, used her sword to get back to her feet before attacking once more.
Elaina moved around slightly while remaining in a normal stance. It was like she was toying with the first princess’s attacks. It is also clear that the First Princess is giving her best attacks as the shockwaves from each attack can be felt by everyone in the area and the fact that the tall grasses that Elaina has yet to be cleared out has been cut off means that all of her attacks are not just something like a playful spar.
Despite this, Elaina didn’t seem to be having any trouble at all and the First Princess was angry.
"Why are you not taking this seriously?! Do you think this is a joke?"
"Hmmm, I am not offending you on this, Your Majesty, but I can fight you just fine even without unsheathing the sword on my scabbard," Elaina calmly said as she blocked another strike that caused her to be more furious.
"If that is the case, I will not hold back. I will just make sure that you will be unsheathing that sword of yours!"
One thing that the First Princess hates is being looked down upon. After all, she has been enduring that kind of attitude from others for many years since she was a kid. So when she earned praise from many people, she has naturally forgotten it. But she never expected that her hate would suddenly be fueled once again by someone who is just a farmer who happens to wield a sword.
As she channels her power into the sword, elements start to circulate on the blade. Elaina was also shocked but she remained steady and composed as she watched the first princess channel her power to her blade.
"I am not going to just make this stand and be humiliated by this," with all of her powers being in her sword, she once again disappeared from where she stood before reappearing before Elaina slashing through her. But Elaina remains standing as the First Princess’s sword shatters and she collapses to the ground. As for Elaina, she has indeed pulled out the sword from the scabbard but no one has seen her pull it out so fast, even the Prince himself.
As she put back her sword into the scabbard, Elaina gestured to the guards. "Bring her inside. She is just unconscious. I didn’t do any sort of fatal attacks on her, don’t worry about it."
Everyone was not expecting it but they didn’t delay what Elaina said and immediately helped the unconscious princess up. As for the Prince, he grinned after seeing everything.
"And to think we thought Tabatha was the strongest swordswoman we have had for many years. Looks like there is someone else who is much more of a monster here than my sister."
