Abyss Solo Chapter 357

The Third Pioneer was abducted while she was asleep.

She not only failed to develop influence, but her personal security was also a mess.

This made Yang Ming even more suspicious...

Was the real Third Pioneer hiding behind this woman?

Yang Ming wasn’t in a hurry, he continued to let Feinan hover on the outskirts of the planet, observing the unfolding situation.

Lyu had secretly sent small drones into the planet’s atmosphere.

The three criminals drugged the Third Pioneer, moved her into the trunk of a hover car, and headed toward the no-man’s land at the city’s edge.

Their abduction process wasn’t just familiar, it was seamless.

"This is professional talent," Yang Ming muttered with a smirk, while Lyu smiled silently beside him.

"This type of criminal organization actually exists everywhere," Lyu whispered, "they’re like cockroaches hiding in brick cracks; if you don’t pry up the bricks, you’ll generally never notice their traces."

Yang Ming asked, "Are there many criminals in Wind’s territory these days?"

"All the violent criminals have been punished, and currently, Wind’s crime rate is below the Milky Way average," Lyu spoke gently, "the Empire’s system still retains the death penalty, which serves as a pretty good deterrent, but these people before us will most likely spend their final years in a prison equipped with a gym and media room."

"A so-called prison," Yang Ming softly lamented.

Lyu chuckled, "Form over function, it’s quite common."

They chattered intermittently, and on the projection screen, the hover car gradually drove into a city outskirts area, turning into an abandoned warehouse.

The surveillance footage was interrupted due to a lack of equipment.

The small probe drones Lyu had sent out earlier were already hovering above the warehouse, and the projection screen’s perspective switched to an aerial view, beginning to use rendered models to represent the humans active inside the warehouse.

Their conversations and internet activities were completely monitored by Lyu.

Yang Ming carefully watched for a while, and it seemed those people were tinkering with some instruments, taking the Third Pioneer into a container and tying her to a chair.

"Lyu, what are they doing?"

"That is a kind of brainwave detection device," Lyu spoke gently, "like a polygraph; it’s quite old equipment. They are clearly intending to interrogate this woman."

"Let the drone move closer; they have no defensive system."

Lyu immediately operated, and the image became clear. When the drone stabilized above the warehouse, the sounds inside were also captured completely.

Indeed, they were conducting an interrogation.

The young woman who was captured—the one who emerged as the Third Pioneer—began to cry after simple threats and continuous electric shocks from several criminals.

"A boss wants to see you; you’d better cooperate; otherwise, the pain you just experienced, we’ll make you enjoy a hundred times over."

The young woman nodded continuously, tears streaming down her face.

A criminal brought in a holographic projection device and placed it in front of the young woman.

Next, the criminals put headphones on the young woman, quickly lowered their heads, left the container, and kept dozens of meters away.

On the bridge of Feinan, Yang Ming, instinctively lowered his voice, "Try to trace the source of the communication."

Lyu replied, and the projection disappeared.

In the warehouse, inside the container, a virtual image appeared in the holographic projection, and a deep male voice floated out, echoing in the woman’s headphones and on the bridge of Feinan:

"I believe my friends have already made you feel sufficiently threatened."

"Let me go... please..."

The young woman trembled as she spoke, "I know nothing, I really know nothing."

"The universe is the Abyss," the male voice inquired, "do you need more hints?"

"This is just, something I saw in my dreams," the young woman shouted, "I’ve been having these dreams suddenly since a few years ago; I often feel like I’ve become another person and always see these things; my... my psychiatrist told me I have a delusional disorder."

The male voice fell into a murmur.

The woman continued to shout: "I really, truly saw those messages by chance; these messages are exactly the same as things that appeared in my dreams; I thought I wasn’t sick, I thought I wasn’t sick..."

"Calm down," the male voice continued, "tell me, what did you see in your dreams? What do you remember most vividly? The explosion of a planet?"

The woman nodded vigorously.

"Game storyline failure, planetary destruction in reality, the ninth Natural Disaster..."

She uttered a string of words with no logical connection.

Minter City, speeding luxury car back seat.

Allison, wearing headphones, was listening intently; he quickly discovered some inconsistencies.

The countries on the planet couldn’t unify their opinions, leading to disputes and infighting?

His home planet was clearly united, with a joint government fighting against the ninth Natural Disaster, although it ultimately faced a tragic defeat.

Allison suddenly asked, "How many people were on the planet in your dream?"

"It seemed, it seemed like 4.6 billion," the girl tied in the container replied, trembling.

Allison leaned back and fell into silence.

Another low-level civilization got destroyed and then retested?

Then the old man he had seen earlier...

A slight change appeared on Allison’s face; he suddenly raised his head, looking at the driver and the robot security in the front seat of the luxury car, forcing himself to calm down.

At this moment, Allison first felt an inexplicable sense of insecurity, followed by a surge of anger.
