The three people dug their hands into the rice, but there was nothing in the rice.

Wen Meiling looked incredulously towards Goat Beard.
She had thought that Jiang Mengyu’s bundle contained an antique vase, so sure was Goat Beard’s assertion.

Wen Meiling looked at Jiang Mengyu and then said, “If you want to prove your innocence, then let’s search your possessions too.”

Qin Xiufang also put forward her bag as well: “Search it!”
In the end, the belongings of all family members were searched, but the antique vase was still nowhere to be found.

But the key point was, he mistook the person.
There was no vase on Jiang Mengyu, nor on any of the family members. Clearly, the vase was not acquired by Jiang Mengyu but perhaps by someone who looked a bit like her.
It was not a big deal if he mistook someone else, but what should she do for backing the wrong horse?
