Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me Chapter 227

Daniel looked into the distance. He could sense that the stronger demons weren’t happy with how the battle was going.

Most likely, sooner or later, they would finally enter the fight. Before that happened, they needed to shift the battle even more in their favor.

And that meant sending Evangelin into the battlefield.

"Are you ready to go?" he asked the Saint.

She nodded. Suddenly, a bright light shone around her and wrapped her entire body. When the light faded, her figure was revealed—now clad in a full iron armor.

She was holding two swords, each of them radiating a powerful aura.

’Her armor and swords are at least S-rank,’ Daniel thought, his eyebrows lifting slightly in surprise.

But thinking again, it made sense. After all, this girl was the disciple of the Prophet—a demigod.

Without wasting any time, Evangelin jumped down from the city wall and charged straight into the demon army. What happened next was far beyond Daniel’s expectations.

With every swing of her sword, the Saint easily cut demons clean in half.

Her speed was terrifying—she was slicing through the demons at an insane pace. Daniel could even feel the fear of the demons from where he stood.

"Is she always ?" he asked, feeling like it was the second time he’d said that.

"Well... she’s the Prophet’s disciple, and the Prophet is known for his hatred of demons. I guess he passed that hatred down as a legacy to her," Paragon Evern replied while scratching his head.

The other two Paragons, however, remained silent, frowning as they watched Evangelin’s power. She was only peak rank C—one full rank below them.

But this kind of terrifying power... what was it?

It didn’t take long before, with the help of the Fallen and Evangelin, the tide of the battle began to shift in their favor. The number of demons kept dropping.

Now, there were fewer than 3,000 of them left. However, their own casualties weren’t small either—at least over seventy thousand had died.

Although Daniel was saddened by that, there wasn’t much he could do about it. Worse than that, it showed just how strong the demon army really was.

This was only a ten-thousand-strong army led by a mid-rank B demon. What would happen if a 100,000-strong army led by a rank A demon came?

Or even a one-million-strong army led by a rank S demon? The very thought was terrifying. Daniel had no doubt that no force could stand against an army of one million demons.

He was curious what would happen if the demons suddenly decided it was time to conquer the world. Would anyone be able to stop them?

’Now that I think about it, one of the Heroes once fought a demon called the World-Eater Demon and won. I should look into that later,’ he thought, then looked into the distance again after sensing something.

It seemed like the powerful demons were finally preparing to join the battle.

"It’s time for us to join too," Daniel said, looking at the Paragons.

They nodded, and the four of them flew into the sky. Daniel instructed them to each target a rank B demon.

There were three mid-rank B demons in total, but Daniel knew these idiots wouldn’t be able to handle them. So he planned to take them on himself.

The Paragons nodded and flew toward their targets in the battle. Daniel sighed as he saw their explosive landings, then turned and flew toward the enemy commanders.

"Haha, pathetic human, why have you come alone? Did you come to surrender?" Baldazor laughed when he saw Daniel flying toward them alone.

"Of course not. It’s just that I alone am enough to kill all of you," Daniel shrugged.

"You weak bastard talk too much," another mid-rank B demon growled, clearly annoyed by Daniel’s words.

"Oh? Another dog barking. What’s your name?" Daniel glanced at the demon who had spoken.

He was tall—not as tall as Baldazor, but definitely taller than him. His skin was completely red, and two flaming wings extended from his back.

Instead of two eyes, he had only one. Just one eye—no nose, and not even a mouth to speak with.

It made Daniel curious how he was even speaking.

His hands looked like saws—clearly weapons had grown out of his skin.

"Who are you calling a dog? I am a Great Demon! General Daimon!" the demon introduced himself with pride.

"My bad. It’s a huge insult to compare garbage like you to a loyal creature like a dog," Daniel apologized.

"You bastard, I’ll kill you with my own hands," Daimon growled, shaking the air around him.

"We were ordered to end this battle quickly and conquer the Holy City. Enough playing around—destroy that human already," the third mid-rank B demon suddenly spoke.

Daniel’s eyes landed on him—and he frowned slightly. Nothing about this demon’s body or face was visible.

He was completely covered in sand, with only holes for his eyes and mouth. The rest was hidden.

But that wasn’t all. The moment Daniel saw him, he got a bad feeling. His instincts told him this unknown demon was the most dangerous of the three.

A threat that needed to be eliminated before the others.

"We don’t want to waste time either. Let’s tear this trash apart and wipe out this filthy city," Baldazor growled, and suddenly his arm turned into a massive blade.

Baldazor and Daimon’s auras suddenly exploded. The entire battlefield shook for a moment. As their terrifying auras were unleashed, all the humans felt a wave of weakness and fear.

On the other hand, the demons suddenly became stronger—it was as if those auras gave them power and motivation to fight.

Daniel frowned. Before responding, he turned his head and looked at the battlefield. The situation, which had barely turned in their favor, suddenly shifted back against them just because of those two demons’ auras.

He sighed and summoned The Heavens Honor. When his sword appeared, all three of his enemies narrowed their eyes and flinched in fear.

What is that sword? They suddenly felt like they were standing on the edge of death.

"My little friend hasn’t had a proper meal in a long time. I hope you guys taste good," Daniel said.
