Ning Ge took the pen that Cheng Su had flung at him with both hands; the ink even smeared his hand, which made him grimace and say, "Come on, President Cheng, we’re all so familiar with each other, there’s no need for such a greeting!"
The others snickered behind their lips.
But Cheng Su just sneered, "Familiar with you? Who are you to me, the guy who fishes for three days and dries nets for two?"
Ning Ge chuckled and rubbed his head, "Don’t be like that; I was only gone for a few days. I believe that even without me, President Cheng, you can still manage the company perfectly well. Right?"
Cheng Su’s face darkened.
Ying Xiaoya then said, "You’re wrong there; without you, a big mess broke out in our company!"
Ning Ge was taken aback and noticed for the first time the serious expressions on everyone’s faces. He put his bag down and asked, "What happened?"
The company also belonged to him. Even if his heart wasn’t in it, he always had a responsibility. If something went wrong, he had to take his share of the burden.
Ying Xiaoya, always quick to speak, had been waiting for Ning Ge to ask, and she immediately spilled all the troubles the company had been facing recently.

"As if it’s that easy," Ying Xiaoya rolled her eyes, "Chen Zhiquan said all he saw were some punks; he has no idea who’s pulling the strings behind the scenes! You think they’ll be stupid enough to give their names so they can be caught red-handed?"
Ning Ge chuckled, "That’s where you’re wrong. There’s an old saying: ’If you don’t want anyone to know, don’t do it.’ Whoever did this will definitely have left some traces behind. Just follow the trail, and how could we not find the person responsible? Don’t worry, I’m good at this kind of thing. Leave it to me."
Cheng Su frowned, "You’re taking care of this? How exactly? Just don’t go pulling any of your shenanigans!"
At that remark, Ning Ge and Ying Xiaoya simultaneously touched their ears, their expressions somewhat sheepish, leaving Wang Bo and Zhu Lifen quite puzzled.
