Then, pointing to the other strawberries, she said, "Hu Hui, please help me distribute the rest of the Snake Fruit to the snake Beastmen in the Delusional Domain. Just tell them they’re from the Lady of the Lord."
Hu Hui was enthralled by Si Yan’s powerful Wood-based Ability. When he heard the command, he stood stunned for a good while before finally managing to close his agape mouth. He said excitedly, "Yes, Lady of the Lord! They will surely be delighted."
Hu Hui summoned a few snake Beastmen to help carry the Snake Fruit.
"Be careful," Hu Hui instructed them. "These are fruits specially picked by the Lady of the Lord."
"Yes, yes, Lord Hu Hui."
Snake Beastmen held a low status in the Beast World.
These Green Crystal snake Beastmen didn’t dare to lift their heads in Si Yan’s presence.
As they carried the Snake Fruit, they felt as if they had been respected by the Lady of the Lord.
The sensation was quite novel to them.
As these Green Crystal snake Beastmen left, they bowed to Si Yan.
"Thank you, Lady of the Lord."

The snake Beastmen cautiously took the strawberries and left.

Hu Hui, too, had found pleasure in the planting process, so he hurried off to do whatever Si Yan asked of him.
There were pumpkin seeds and Paralysis Fruit seeds too.
There were also seeds for chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns.
Si Yan planted all these stored seeds.
The nearby soil, enriched by her Wood-based Ability, was teeming with life.
Shortly after the seeds were sown, one sparkling little sprout after another emerged.
They were especially cute.
After a day of hard work, Si Yan felt sweaty all over, yet she still felt extremely joyful.
"Let’s draw some water," Si Yan chuckled. "Dongchi, Nanmo, how about Mom gives you a bath?"
Nan Mo’s face turned beet red, and he nodded shyly with his head lowered.
Dongchi turned his head away. "Who needs your help? I’m not a little kid anymore."
Si Yan couldn’t help but laugh. Her hands were too dirty to touch the two cubs’ heads.
She quickly prepared a large wooden tub. After Hu Hui brought over several bucketfuls of water, Si Yan asked him to leave.
She found an animal skin and hung it at the entrance of the cave so that people outside couldn’t see inside.
Then, she hung another animal skin in a corner of the cave. This was to create a screen for when she bathed later.
Si Yan bathed the two cubs.
She helped little Dongchi wash first. He leaned over the edge of the wooden tub, watching her. Though the Dongchi cub was awkward, thrashing about and trying to swim away at first, his eyes still brimmed with happiness.
Nan Mo somersaulted in the tub. Wet all over, he said to Si Yan, "Mommy, hug me!"
Si Yan, also drenched, had no intention of doing so.
So, the two cubs proceeded to splash water, drenching her completely.
Wang opened his eyes and looked toward the animal skin curtain. Then he closed his eyes again and continued to sleep.
After the two cubs were bathed and had changed into fresh clothes, curtains were drawn in the cave. Surrounded by their own family and with the hot weather, they simply went without wearing their animal skin skirts.
They slipped and slid about in the cave.
Si Yan poured water for herself. After a quick rinse, she took off her animal skin skirt and stepped into the tub to bathe.
The gentle splashing of water was particularly clear in the night. The cold-blooded snake Beastman opened his eyes slightly and glanced in her direction.
Si Yan came out dressed in clean clothes.
He had shed a lot of snakeskin back then, enough to make more than one set of clothes.
When Si Yan came out, she was wearing a purple snakeskin outfit, entirely made by She Wang.
Her small face was clean, and glistening water droplets rolled down her body.
She Wang looked up and saw this radiant Si Yan.
The eyes of the cold-blooded snake Beastman warmed slightly.
Si Yan bent down to pick up the dirty clothes she had just changed out of from the ground.
Wang asked in a low voice, "Female, what are you going to do?"
Si Yan replied, "I’m going to take them outside to wash."
The male looked at her breathtakingly beautiful face, then stepped forward and took all the dirty clothes from her hands.
In the Beast World, females are only responsible for looking after the cubs. What’s wrong with this female? Doesn’t she have the slightest awareness that she should let me do the work?
"I’ll go wash them. You stay in the cave with the little cubs."
Her discarded clothes included some undergarments.
The male then took all the clothes directly from her hands and strode out of the cave.
Watching Wang’s retreating back, Si Yan thought, In my original world, even with washing machines, it was mostly women who did the laundry. Men willing to wash all of a woman’s clothes were truly rare. But in this world, there are no washing machines. Washing clothes is a huge chore, yet this male before me has taken it all upon himself without a second thought. He might be a villainous Great Demon King, but... he’s actually really good to me.
"Mommy!" Dongchi and Nan Mo ran over.
Si Yan looked at the animal skin skirts the little cubs had changed into.
Are they growing too fast? Their animal skin skirts already seem too small, she mused.
In a corner of the cave lay a large pile of big animal skins left by Wang.
Si Yan said warmly with a smile, "Dongchi, Nanmo, let me make you some more animal skin skirts. I’ll make several, so we can keep some for Xi Qing and Bei Ji too. Come and help Mommy!"
"Okay!" the cubs quickly ran over.
Si Yan looked at the large animal skins.
Considering he washed my clothes for me, I should make a set for Wang too. With my modern aesthetic and so much leather, I can definitely make him something exceptionally handsome. It doesn’t need to be too thick or complicated for Flame Day, but he can wear it when the weather cools down.
