Ling Siyu’s face instantly turned pale and green, looking utterly horrendous!
Whereas Mo Chuxi’s profound and icy eyes stared at her with an intensity that made her heart panic in fear!
Her voice trembled as she called out.
Not even a second later, the handsome and cold man before her curved his lips into a smile.
The golden sunlight draped across Mo Chuxi’s resolute face, making him appear even more chilling.
Mo Chuxi asked with a mocking smile.
"I neither have poor eyesight nor am I blind, so how could I possibly be interested in someone as lowly as you?"
Ling Siyu’s face turned an awkward shade of red. He actually called her... a lowly creature!
Fuming, she glanced at the female classmates behind Mo Chuxi who were whispering amongst themselves, adding to her embarrassment and unwillingness to back down.
Though frightened, she refused to lose face. Stretching her neck, her flushed face resolutely defended herself.
"Teacher Mo, I-I don’t think I’m any worse than Yan Xinxin!"
Ling Siyu retorted indignantly.
"In terms of academics, Yan Xinxin and I are about the same! In terms of looks, we’re of different styles, but I think I’m far prettier than her type! As for figure, mine is perfectly proportioned! And most important of all, my family is wealthier than hers!"
Ling Siyu spat out her words all in a single breath, her face revealing a smug smile afterward. When it came to Yan Xinxin, Ling Siyu prided herself endlessly!
In her eyes, Yan Xinxin was nothing but a poor, unsophisticated country girl! If she wasn’t wearing a school uniform, then it was some faded dress on the verge of turning white! Compare herself to her? Ridiculous!
Seeing the female classmates’ faces change at her words, Ling Siyu grew even more triumphant. Curling her lips in satisfaction, she shot a disdainful glance at Yan Xinxin.
"Yan Xinxin, I bet there’s no one in this entire school poorer than you!"
"And I bet there’s no one in this school more conceited than you."
Yan Xinxin replied calmly and slowly.
Ling Siyu froze, then let out a cold laugh, her voice dripping with dissatisfaction. Turning back to Mo Chuxi, she presented what she believed to be her most beautiful smile.
"Teacher Mo, you not saying anything means you think what I said earlier is right, doesn’t it?"
At her words, Mo Chuxi’s alluring lips slightly curved upward, his sharp, enchanting phoenix eyes lifting faintly.
"I didn’t say anything because I wanted to see just how much of an annoying joke you could make of yourself."
Ling Siyu’s smile froze slightly.
"Have you ever heard of this saying?"
Mo Chuxi asked coldly.
"Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder."
"In my eyes, even if Yan Xinxin were somehow less than perfect, she’d still be the best. Not to mention, in reality, she surpasses you in every way."
Mo Chuxi spoke evenly, his lips slightly parting, and his words not only shocked the nearby female classmates but also stunned Yan Xinxin herself.
What did he just say?

"You want to talk about money with me?"
Mo Chuxi chuckled humorlessly as he stepped closer to Yan Xinxin, lifting his gaze to deliver a frosty look to Ling Siyu.
"Money to me is merely a number. What’s mine is hers, Yan Xinxin’s. Compare yourself to her? It’s like throwing an egg against a rock—ridiculous and beyond your reach."
Ling Siyu’s face instantly changed! It was as if she’d been struck by lightning, and she stood there dumbfounded!
"This semester, you can forget about passing my class. Even if you score full marks on the tests, your overall grade will still be zero."
Mo Chuxi’s lips curved to deliver one final, ruthless blow.
Ling Siyu’s face turned deathly pale!
"Teacher Mo, I refuse to accept this! Yan Xinxin clearly isn’t better than me by much! Why do you praise her so highly?"
