Twenty-eight High Grade Ethisians against two Blood Mutants with a perfect victory record, neither having ever lost a single battle they fought.
The two Humans, male and female, stood next to each other in their normal forms, their glowing red eyes burning furiously with rage at the sight of the Ethisians. Surprisingly, all of that changed when they took note of High Ruler Enor, the one whose death would result in a quick victory for the Granian race.
The Blood Mutants, standing at only six feet tall, were small compared to the Ethisians, who were about two to three feet taller, but their power was immense compared to that of the Ethisians. The Ethisians couldn’t help but shudder, their bodies cowering under the mighty, ominous aura emanating from the Humans.
They all feared the Mutants, all except for Enor, who took the first swing at the male. Immediately, his club and the Human’s hand clashed, followed by an array of sparks flying about. The Ethisian was bewildered at the sight of the Human’s durability. Even though it didn’t have skills, its body was hard enough to cause sparks when rubbed against the metal surface of the club. "What are you waiting for?" another Ethisian asked the others while following Enor’s example. "Our High Ruler fights for us. Let us fight for him and the rest of our kind."
The Humans smirked and slowly moved back, the same ominous aura escaping from their bodies. They looked at the Ethisians with heavy bloodlust, thinking of ways they could kill them slowly and painfully.
The Ethisians, on the other hand, weren’t giving up the opportunity they had. Each one had the urge to kill the Humans and was determined to accomplish it, no matter the cost. Together, they pressed forward with their large and heavy weapons, slamming against the Humans, whose durability was starting to fail.
"Activate your Eneraflux at maximum output, now!!" Enor shouted, his body emitting a powerful surge of energy that was felt almost across the entire battlefield. The other Ethisians did as they were commanded and continued attacking the Humans.
The faster the Ethisians swung their weapons, the faster the Humans dodged, until they became nearly impossible to touch. Nonetheless, the Ethisians were not about to give up the only chance they had.
While they fought, Enor took note of something peculiar about the Humans. Whenever they stood next to each other, they were more coordinated and in sync with their attacks, both complementing each other’s battle tactics. However, if they were separated for even a second, room for sloppy mistakes was made. Because of that, Enor did the unthinkable and body-slammed the male first while the others dealt with the female.
As soon as he did that, five more High Grades joined him, and together, they used their strength and weight to pin the Human to the ground.
"Do it now, High Ruler. Finish it off!!" Enor was given the green light, and immediately, he lifted his club over his head with all his might and...
All twenty-eight Ethisians were blown away from the Humans, the one chance they had at killing the male gone.
Looking ahead, they noticed the male float back to his feet, a pink flame burning around his body before it slowly seeped back into his flesh. The female Human, relieved that her male counterpart was no longer in harm’s way, transformed into her Blood Mutant form, and so did the male.
Now, the two Humans, currently in their Blood Mutant forms, stood on equal footing with the Ethisians, making them even more intimidating. Their monstrous faces, long claws, and sharp sets of teeth deterred some of the Ethisians from fighting... that was until they saw Enor lunge at full speed.
Even though the Ethisian was frightened, he knew what needed to be done and chose to go through with it until the end. His drive to win and immense willpower boosted the High Grades, who pushed past their fears and lunged as well.
The Blood Mutants roared and laughed with pleasure and amusement showing on their monstrous faces. They too lunged at the Ethisians, hitting them one by one.
Their blows were massively powerful, powerful enough to split bodies into countless pieces. If it weren’t for the Eneraflux coating the High Grades’ bodies, they would have been turned into piles of meat.
"FIGHT!! DON’T GIVE UP JUST YET!!" Enor screamed, his voice shaking the ground he stood on while his strength continued to rise. The louder he screamed, the more Eneraflux his body released, giving him a massive power boost.
Before he knew it, the Ethisian was at the same speed and strength level as the male Blood Mutant, allowing him to do...
"HYAHHH!!" With a mighty swing of his club, Enor slammed his weapon into the Blood Mutant’s ribcage. The swing was fast and unavoidable, its force greater than that of a speeding freight train. In an instant, the Blood Mutant’s body was catapulted from where it stood and slammed into the ground repeatedly.
Like a stone skipping on water, the Blood Mutant’s body slammed and skipped along while Enor continued his attacks. Using all his might, the Ethisian kept slamming his club onto the Blood Mutant, his might increasing the amount of damage it had taken so far.
The female Blood Mutant, upon seeing her male counterpart get hit, attempted to rush to his aid. Unbeknownst to her, Enor had strategically separated the male from her to create room for sloppy mistakes, which had indeed happened.
As soon as the High Grades took note of this, they all swung their weapons at the Blood Mutant, each one making sure to hit it two or three times with all their might.
Meanwhile, Enor had taken a great leap into the air, his club raised over his head again. With great speed and precision, the Ethisian slammed his club again at the Blood Mutant, but then...
"That’s enough!!" the Human mumbled as it met Enor halfway. One hand held the Ethisian’s club in mid-air while the other slowly enlarged and took the shape of a blade. "It’s now our turn to attack!!"
