Bloodline of the Wizard Chapter 292

The latter was immediately filled with shock and terror, instinctively backing away.

At this moment, the distance was far too close between them; it was almost as if only a transparent wall separated them, the distance between each other visually estimated to be less than ten meters.

As Ronan nonchalantly tossed a [Frost Spear] towards the young wizard from the Thorny Palace on his right, a seemingly frosty crystal barrier armor also quietly emerged around him, defending against the Black Nightmare Swamp Wizard on his left.

Indeed, the opponent was also casting at him, just a fraction slower than his own movements.

At the same time, within the different passages of this "long corridor," countless spells burst forth from their hands...

However, all these spells ultimately fell through.

Ronan personally witnessed the dozens of [Frost Spears] he discharged silently vanish after penetrating the transparent wall beside him.

The connection with his spiritual power was severed.

The spells didn’t reach the young wizard of the Thorny Palace on his right, just as the spells from the Black Nightmare Swamp Wizard failed to appear before him.

"It looks like we can’t attack each other?"

Ronan’s eyes flickered, "So, the eight slots for passing the test... Is it a race against time?!"

A tangible white shockwave suddenly exploded within the mirror-like corridor, Ronan vanishing on the spot, his form turning into a blurred shadow rapidly dashing towards the end of the corridor.

If this truly was a race, looking down from high above, one would see—on the densely packed, circular array of tracks converging towards a central endpoint, Ronan’s path, a dark line, dramatically overtaking the others with unbelievable speed, continuously closing in on the center.

Ronan entirely abandoned the acceleration of the Second-tier Flying Magic Tool, relying purely on his physical power, his speed indeed far surpassing that with the use of a Flying Magic Ring.

The substance of this corridor, filled with mirrors everywhere, was of unknown material; no matter how much force he exerted with his legs, the ground showed no marks.

Ronan, like a flash of black lightning surging through the corridor, emitted intense thunderous noises as he sped forward.

"It’s about time I elevate my [Basic Swordsmanship] proficiency of the Master Level... The transformation effect on the body from [Pure Body] combined with the Ancient Frost Multi-Headed Snake Bloodline keeps massively boosting my physical power, slowly becoming a bit difficult to control..."

Ronan pondered silently as he advanced.

What he always valued about Master Level [Basic Swordsmanship] was the absolute control it gave him over bodily functions.

Previously, this control was more than sufficient, but now it was gradually becoming inadequate.

Ronan shot out of the corridor like a whirlwind.

His form transitioned from extreme motion to utter stillness in an instant, his fluttering Magic Robe and long hair silently testifying to the ferocity of his speed.

What had previously been a silver figure at the end of the corridor now transformed into a massive ball of light, ascending abruptly to the high skies, like a silver Sun indifferently overlooking all below.

A multitude of mysterious rune patterns were faintly discernible between Ronan and the silver orb, blocking the light rays and distance.

Ronan slowly withdrew his gaze, scanning his surroundings, only to realize that he was now on a massive circular platform.

The platform was as smooth as a mirror, akin to a giant laid-flat mirror; Ronan looked down and could clearly see his own reflection on the ground.

And similar platforms, a total of eight, were quietly suspended in a ring around Ronan.

Eight giant mirror-like platforms hung static in midair, with a brightly lit abyss beneath.

A figure pierced through the ripples in the air, abruptly emerging before Ronan, a Melt Crystal Lake Wizard dressed in a Red Robe, with slight dark skin and a square face. He showed brief surprise upon seeing Ronan, then quickly drew a cautious distance.

Subsequently, more and more figures appeared on the platforms.

Similarly, on the other platforms, figures started to surface.

The wizards from the Reflected Light Corridor, after a session of "racing," were successively teleported to the different mirror-like platforms.

Ronan retreated to a corner of the platform, his brow slightly furrowed.

He now realized that his previous inference was incorrect; the Reflected Light Corridor was not the real venue of competition. The speed at which one traversed the corridor did not mean anything; it was this platform... that was about to become their battlefield.

"Just enough for eight..."

Ronan pondered silently; more and more people were arriving on this platform, and the number ceased to increase after reaching nineteen.

Out of these nineteen, the majority were Melt Crystal Lake Wizards, a total of eight.

Next were six Thorny Palace Wizards in green robes.

Including him, there were only four people from the Silver Magic Ring.

Of course, Black Nightmare Swamp Wizards were the fewest, only two; upon entering the platform, they immediately used some special magical means to conceal themselves, with only faint energy fluctuations traceable by spiritual power.

The other three Magic Ring Wizards naturally gravitated towards Ronan.

People from other factions did the same, maintaining sufficient distance from each other, warily assessing one another.

Everyone was unsure of what was to come, yet many seemed to have an inkling about what was going to happen.

The atmosphere on the platform grew tense and subtle.

"Glenn, from the First Magic Ring."
