Bloodline of the Wizard Chapter 402

Ronan extended his hand, and "Titanium" coiled up his arm like a sleek, deep and luxurious black satin, quickly flowing into his magic robe.

After discovering that "Titanium" could continually evolve through absorption, Ronan had fed it his original Magic Nightmare Tungsten Steel and Neiman Metal, as well as all the metals he collected within the Mechanical Heart.

Now, "Titanium" had evolved to Third Rank in quality and possessed the characteristics of all metals it had absorbed, including the Magic Nightmare Tungsten Steel.

What satisfied Ronan most was the hint of spirituality inherent to "Titanium".

It was not simply an inanimate object; it seemed to exist somewhere between metallic materials and metal life forms.

Just like the black hound Ronan saw in his dreams, if it could continue to grow, it wasn’t an impossible feat.

And it was precisely because of this trace of spirituality in "Titanium" that it was incredibly compatible with the power of the Extraordinary Magic Domain of the Living Steel; when used through "Titanium," the spell’s effect increased more than twofold.

"’Titanium’ must be a creation of the ’Alchemist.’ The ability to create such a miraculous metal speaks volumes of the Alchemist’s wisdom and strength..."

Ronan thought as the Titanium that resembled both flowing black silk and oil emerged from the collar of his robe, streamed up his neck, and eventually covered most of his cheek like a mask, forming a shark-teeth-like mouth that opened and closed...

This bizarre and unsettling appearance formed a sharp contrast with Ronan’s other half, which was as pale and handsome as an ancient sculpture, creating a profound visual impact, a twisted and terrifying beauty.

"It’s somewhat like a Venom Battle Suit..."

With his right hand extended and covered in Titanium, Ronan’s fingers continuously moved through the void, as if he was lightly strumming invisible strings in the air.

He uttered short, quick magic incantations, and spiritual power surged forth, with strands of strange energy fluctuations radiating from the tips of his fingers.

The next moment, a large amount of Titanium metal burst from every crevice of Ronan’s robe, swiftly condensing in the void into a bizarre and fearsome thick tentacle that swayed slightly, exuding a terrible pressure, distorting the air around it...

"Spiritual Moya Black Steel Touch"!

After emerging from the Mechanical Heart, Ronan focused on studying the legacy of the "Golden Fire" obtained from the Golden Magic Box while traveling.

Among the five spell legacies within "Golden Fire", the "Spiritual Moya Black Steel Touch" was the simplest and the only spell Ronan was qualified to practice at this stage. He had already achieved entry-level proficiency three days ago.

"So, ’Golden Fire’ Moya... Is it an entity with tentacles resembling those of an octopus?"

Ronan examined the black steel tentacle conjured by the spell up close, noticing some serrated marks appearing on the tentacle.

Perhaps once the proficiency of this spell increased, these serrations would fully form. Even now, a faint screeching accompanied the metal tentacle’s movement, conveying a sharp, cutting sensation.

Ronan had caught a distant glimpse of the Alchemist’s entire Golden Kingdom, where the most striking feature was the seven resplendent and towering figures.

Those seven figures likely represented the seven fundamental forces that supported the entire spell system of the Golden Kingdom, with "Golden Fire" Moya being one of them.

However, what puzzled Ronan was that he felt not a trace of Fire Magic’s power in the "Black Steel Touch" spell; it was purely a Metal Magic spell.

Ronan speculated that only after mastering all five spells and constructing the complete "Golden Fire" system would some miraculous transformation occur.

Ronan had never seen the true form of Moya and was curious about what "Golden Fire" would look like and the extent of its formidable power...

Besides, the "Black Steel Touch" spell had one aspect that set it apart from any other spell Ronan had learned before—

Its Proficiency level increased exceptionally fast.

Having just mastered the spell for three days and only practiced it a few times, the "Black Steel Touch" had already reached the Proficiency level on the character panel.

Moreover, compared to typical Second-tier Magic, the potency of "Black Steel Touch" was somewhat exaggerated. Ronan estimated that even with just Proficiency-level "Black Steel Touch", his strength was already touching the edge of Level 3 – an incredible feat.

"Is this the difference between a high and Rare spell and ordinary spells?"

"The principle of ’Black Steel Touch’ is more Mysterious than that of ordinary spells, more prone to deriving a Magic Domain, which is why the Proficiency level increases so quickly before reaching the Master Level..."

Ronan was now well aware that comprehending a Magic Domain is the real starting point for any spell.

In Ancient Times, every Wizard had the strength of a dragon, and casting any spell naturally encompassed the effects of the Extraordinary Magic Domain. Modern Wizards, however, cannot achieve this, not just because the Free Energy Particles between heaven and earth are far less abundant than in Ancient Times, but also due to the consistency in lowering the threshold for casting low-level magic spells.

Lowering the threshold for casting also means simplification of magic principles and reduction of spell potency.

During his three years in the Ascetic Tower, Ronan had seen a viewpoint in a Wizard Book – the strength of the current Wizards at the same level is at least more than twice as weak as the Ancient Wizards.
