Bloodline of the Wizard Chapter 409

Better versions could have five to six times the space, even better ones could have more than ten times the space, and come equipped with all sorts of facilities, including a garden and a swimming pool, almost equivalent to an entire portable manor.

Of course, the price also reached a level that left Ronan astonished.

In the end, Ronan purchased a medium-level Space Tent, the price of which was still reasonable, costing him just 500 Advanced Magic Stones.

After completing the transaction, the Level 1 Wizard who sold the Space Tent also left a Communication Stone for Ronan, expressing, with utmost politeness, that should any issues arise with the tent, during the period of conflict, they could be sought out for repair and maintenance.

Similar "Wizard Merchants" were numerous around the outskirts of the Ancient Fairy City Ruins, all wearing the same style of gray-green Magic Robes, with a beautifully embroidered pattern on the chest depicting a Gold Coin surrounded by a Magic Wand, books, and a Key.

These people belonged to an organization called the "Haamet Merchant Association," which even established a sizable trading market at the border between the outer and central layers of the ruins, with energy methods that were quite remarkable.

After purchasing the Space Tent, Ronan walked through the crowd towards the inner layer of the ruins.

The periphery of the Ancient Fairy City Ruins was occupied by crowds, distinctively divided into three regions by Strength—the innermost being the residence of Level 3 Wizards, the central layer for the Level 2 Wizards, and the outermost layer filled with the most numerous Level 1 Official Wizards.

Where there are many people, friction is inevitable.

In just the small distance that Ronan walked from the outermost to the central layer, he witnessed no fewer than five conflicts, but both sides in each dispute were quite restrained, often ceasing after a brief exchange of a couple of Spells; those who couldn’t hold back would move to the outermost area to settle their dispute.

Emphasizing an "order within chaos."

With over ten thousand Official Wizards of Level 1 and above gathered in one place, above the vast expanse of the Ancient Fairy City Ruins, large quantities of Free Energy Particles were attracted by the natural fluctuations of the spiritual power emitted by the Wizards, forming colorful streaming lights visible to the naked eye, a truly unusual scene.

Using the [Eye of Truth], Ronan felt as though he was in the midst of a vast, splendid galaxy, where each twinkling point of light represented an Official Wizard of Level 1 or above, with the innermost containing round after round of Level 3 "Bright Moon and Arrogant Sun."

Ronan stepped into the central area designated for Level 2 Wizards and found a relatively clear and flat spot near the outer edge.

While Ronan was setting up the Space Tent, people poked their heads out of a few nearby tents approximately twenty meters away.

Ronan gave a cursory glance, dispersing his Late Stage Level 2 spiritual power fluctuations; most of those who peeked out quickly retracted back into their tents, which was a kind of "acknowledgment" of his qualification to camp there.

A few others, however, walked straight out from their tents and headed towards him, apparently intending to strike up a conversation or make an acquaintance.

Ronan, however, didn’t give them a chance; after setting up his tent, he immediately went in, as at this stage he really had no interest in wasting time and energy on such relatively meaningless social networking.

The Space Tent, which cost 500 Advanced Magic Stones, was about 45 square meters in size inside, but though small, it was fully furnished.

Aside from the essential rest bedroom and washroom, there was even a small sitting room and a meditation room partitioned off.

All everyday necessities were supplied inside, including even a stock of drinking water and food.

The tent’s sound insulation was very good, keeping most of the outside noise out, yet it didn’t completely block the sense of outside comings and goings; moreover, it had certain defensive and early-warning capabilities.

The greatest difference between a Space Tent and a regular space storage magic tool is that it is not a completely independent and private space; considering ventilation and the situation in case of exterior attacks, the interior space of the tent is actually quite fragile. As explained by the "Haamet Merchant Association" Wizard who sold the tent, even a Level 1 Wizard could tear through the tent and escape in an emergency if necessary.

It must be said that the creator of this Magic Tool has almost taken all aspects into consideration.

Ronan washed his hands and face, ridding himself of the "dust" of travel, and then took out several Communication Stones from his Space Ring and sent separate messages to Kosti and Benny to inform them of his arrival at the Ancient Fairy City Ruins.

Checking the previously sent Communication Stones, there were no replies from Orian and Grace, but there was a message from the Silver-haired Witch of the Life Court whom he had met at the Mechanical Heart; she had sent another Communication Stone.

The message represented an invitation from the Life Court on behalf of the Silver-haired Witch.

Ronan was indeed quite curious about the Life Court, a Central Wizard Force, but the message didn’t specify the exact location of the Life Court members; even if Ronan had wanted to accept the invitation, he could not locate them.

Most likely they were in the innermost layer, but the gathering place of the Level 3 Wizards there would give any newcomer a unique "welcome ceremony," much like the Level 3 Wizard Ronan had seen before riding a yellow giant bat.

Thinking it over, he decided to ignore it and couldn’t be bothered to reply.

Just as Ronan set down the Communication Stone, he noticed someone triggered the "entrance barrier" of the Space Tent.

Ronan initially thought it was one of those earlier "neighbors" who had attempted to socialize with him, but upon extending his spiritual power to check, he discovered it was the Silver-haired Witch from the Life Court that he had seen earlier.
