Bloodline of the Wizard Chapter 69

Chapter 69: Chapter 62: Farewell to Linus, Corpse Garden_3 Chapter 69: Chapter 62: Farewell to Linus, Corpse Garden_3 His gaze fell on the dilapidated tombstone erected in front of the grave, as if he wanted to study the text on the tombstone.

The young wizard Reiny remained vigilant, while Ronan’s lips moved slightly, a faint white light emerging from the depths of his eyes as he began to look around.

The [Detection Skill] that he had refined to Mastery Level had not only reduced the casting time to less than a second, but also revealed much more information and traces after being cast.

In Ronan’s eyes, the graveyard had completely turned black at this moment, with large amounts of negative energy particles belonging to the Undead and Dark Departments swirling around the entire tomb like black smoke.

Amidst this darkness, bright eerie green colors penetrated everywhere, resembling transmission pipes, faintly forming one bizarre pattern after another….

Ronan crouched down, his fair, slender fingers brushing away the black soil of the grave, quickly touching something hard.

His expression changed drastically.

Ronan quickly stood up and shouted coldly at the hook-nosed wizard who was already close to the tombstone.

He possessed a lot of heritage knowledge about Undead Magic, including detailed descriptions of how to refine and cultivate Undead Servants, and the materials required.

He had sensed something was wrong when he cast the Detection Skill just now; upon shifting the soil beneath his feet, he saw…

it was all related stuff!

Hearing Ronan’s warning, the hook-nosed wizard turned his head to give him a cold look and then continued walking forward.

Ronan glanced at Reiny next to him, seeing that he was also unmoved, shook his head, and directly started running at high speed towards the other end of the graveyard.

It was a matter of a few breaths later.

A sound, like something breaking, echoed crisply within the quiet graveyard.

Following that, the ground shook, and one grave mound after another began to rise…

The hook-nosed wizard had just leaned in to study the text on the tombstone, and before he could read it, he saw a white bony hand reaching out explosively from the grave behind the tombstone.

His complexion instantly changed, realizing that everything Ronan had said was true.

He quickly activated his Magic Tool, putting up an Energy Shield, and then started running.

Reiny reacted much faster; he had already realized something was wrong when the ground shook.

But the graves changed too quickly; one Skeleton Warrior after another emerged from the tombs, their hollow eye sockets burning with eerie green flames, wielding decayed axes or swords, and swarming towards the two of them with enclosing movements.

A shimmering cold axe heavily smashed into the ground, shattering the brick-paved path and creating a network of fissures.

Ronan, holding his Magic Wand, his robe billowing, leapt gracefully high into the air like a nimble bird, using the axe handle to jump over, evading a heavy blow from a blocking skeleton, and landed smoothly on the ground.

Turning back, he saw Reiny and the hook-nosed wizard who had come along with him already caught in a fierce fight.

Reiny gripped a rune-shining curved knife, continuously reciting spells, occasionally making slashing motions, after which half-moon-shaped yellow energy light blades shot from the curved knife, chopping into surrounding skeletons, exploding into bright yellow and bone fragments.

The hook-nosed wizard continuously waved his Magic Wand, chanting to summon fierce windstorms.

Although they didn’t cause much damage, they blew the surrounding skeletons tumbling about.

As Advanced Wizard Apprentices, both of their fighting abilities were decent, clearly having experienced some battles, at least not panicking to the point of being unable to cast spells in such a situation.

But the methods of both were lacking effective damage against the Skeleton Warriors whose strength was generally above Intermediate Apprentice level; after a series of actions, not only were they unable to break free, the surrounding Skeleton Warriors gathered more and more, with a pending threat of being overwhelmed.

Ronan let out a breath, his eyebrows furrowed then relaxed again.

The skeleton he had just dodged had already turned around, its arms raised high with an axe, making a chopping gesture towards him.

But Ronan seemed as if he didn’t even see it, his lake-blue eyes only showing calm.

He raised his Magic Wand with one hand, his gaze piercing through the gaps between the stark white ribs of each Skeleton Warrior, firmly locking onto the position of Reiny and the hook-nosed wizard engaged in the tough battle…

Forming a straight long line.

The next second, the air and light at the tip of his wand began to distort.

A massive amount of energy particles gathered around, generating invisible wind…

lifting the hem of Ronan’s robe and the long hair tied with a silver rope at his back.

A giant blue-black Light Ball, the size of several human heads, condensed into shape.

With Ronan’s sharp, brief shout, his robe billowed sharply backwards.

Like a terrifying cannonball fired, the huge blue-black Light Ball roared out, stirring up massive torrents of brick and mud, smashing through one skeletal body after another, forcefully pressing forward rapidly…
