When Gu Anxi returned to the villa, dusk had settled in, and the air was filled with the aroma of food.
Wang Keru came up to her, "Anxi, where have you been?"
"I went to see Qin Siyuan," Gu Anxi told her mother honestly.
Wang Keru raised her voice in disapproval, "What’s there to see about him? None of the men in the Qin family are worth anything."
She then complained, "Xichen will definitely scold you when he finds out."
Gu Anxi looked up to see Bo Xichen on the second floor, leaning slightly on the railing.
Indeed, he was... quite a sight for sore eyes.
