Zhou Yun: "What kind of attitude have I shown?"
Gu Huaichun remained silent.
Initially, he disliked Zhou Yun because of her past scandals and her non-professional background. Most importantly, Xu Siyao parachuting into the role of the second female lead—a role that originally belonged to his friend.
He blamed Zhou Yun for all of this.
He loathed those celebrities who relied on popularity and traffic to squeeze out space from those who earnestly acted.
However, this morning, he realized that Zhou Yun’s relationship with Xu Siyao was not as good as he previously thought; it was even somewhat hostile.
If Gu Huaichun were to voice all this, he wouldn’t be able to show his face in front of Zhou Yun anymore. He might as well dig a hole, jump in, and bury himself.
He hemmed and hawed, not making a sound. After a while, he couldn’t hold back his curiosity, "Aren’t you and Xu Siyao from the same company? Why are you two contesting each other secretly?"
"I’m contesting her? What’s there to contest? Don’t label me without seeing clearly. Why would I stoop to petty squabbles with her?" Zhou Yun responded with an attitude of outright contention with Xu Siyao.

"She invited me to dinner tonight, and I’m considering whether to go or not."
"Go or don’t go, it’s up to you." Zhou Yun put down her chopsticks and got up to leave.
It’s strange, some people get along better the longer they know each other, while others dislike each other the more they know them.
For Zhou Yun, Xu Siyao was the latter.
Initially, because of He Yong, Zhou Yun didn’t want to interact with Xu Siyao. Later, when Xu Siyao took the initiative to approach her and showed goodwill, she just rejected her and kept her distance without doing anything else.
Later, Xu Siyao repeatedly fabricated a close relationship with her on social media on her own, which annoyed Zhou Yun, though she still didn’t take it to heart.
In June, when Zhou Yun fell into a public opinion crisis because of Zhao Qin, Xu Siyao suddenly acted as if she didn’t know her and was not familiar with her, which Zhou Yun found quite a relief as she didn’t have to worry about Xu Siyao’s constant efforts to show goodwill.
She really didn’t want to stir up any CP (Celebrity Partnership) with Xu Siyao, whether it was the initially intended sister CP or the later idol and fan CP.
Until today, when Xu Siyao showed up on the set.
Zhou Yun began to genuinely dislike Xu Siyao from the bottom of her heart.
No matter what, she had never attacked Xu Siyao.
What right did Xu Siyao have to be sarcastic towards her?
