“Does it still hurt?”
After he stopped, he immediately looked down and asked her.
“It hurts!” Mengmeng rolled her eyeballs, told a little lie, and blinked her eyes to take advantage, “I need more blowing for it to be okay!”

“Oh my gosh, where is my red scarf?” Mengmeng finally panicked, as anxious as an ant on a hot pan. She quickly grabbed her backpack from behind, squatted on the ground, and started searching through it.
“Did you find it?” Gu Zhihan bent over to look at her, his brow slightly furrowed. If only he had not been reading earlier and had discovered it sooner, they could have returned home to get it, instead of being right at the school gate like now.
“No…” Mengmeng was on the verge of tears, her mind spinning quickly, and she suddenly remembered, “I recall now, I really did forget to bring it. I took off the red scarf last night while taking a bath and just threw it with the dirty clothes.”
Just yesterday, someone had arrogantly said that only an idiot would forget to wear their red scarf, and today she had become the very idiot she spoke of yesterday.
“Do you have any money on you?” Gu Zhihan continued to ask, glancing at the nearby school store, “You could just buy another one.”
After all, red scarves were hanging in abundance at the stores by the school gate.
