In a few strides, he stood tall, looking down at her with an exceedingly cold gaze, his entire being emitting a terrifying chill. His voice was so cold it made one shiver, "Ling Yunshu, what are you doing here?"
Ling Yunshu had anticipated this scene, but Shi Che was even more ruthless, even more indifferent than she had imagined.
Now, she was only covered by a thin bedsheet, just enough to cover the vital areas, revealing her slender, pale arms and legs, which were extremely enticing. Yet his gaze was filled with such loathing, as if he was looking at a disgusting pile of flies.
Her body began to tremble uncontrollably; her hand tightened bit by bit. She struggled to control herself, lifted her head to look at Shi Che, and before she could speak, tears had already fallen.
"Old Zhu said you’ve been locking yourself in your room drinking alone, and I was worried about you, so I came to see... But... you... you mistook me for Xiaxia... We, we..."
She hadn’t finished her sentence when Shi Che suddenly let out two sneers, his dark eyes coldly sidestepping her as if he had heard a huge joke, "Ling Yunshu, you’re really overestimating yourself. Even if I was dead drunk, I would never sleep with you."
