Hearing Shi Che’s cold, indifferent voice, Ling Yunshu’s face turned deathly pale. She suddenly glared at Shi Che, her voice filled with resentment, "Why?"
Shi Che continued instructing Aunt Zhu over the phone, completely ignoring her.
But Ling Yunshu, as if driven to a state of utter madness, stood up shakily, her red eyes fixated on Shi Che, her voice growing shrill, "Why? Why am I not good enough? I look exactly like Ling Chuxia, I am even a hundred, no, a thousand times better than her! I love you so much, why won’t you give me a glance?"
Shi Che cut off the phone call and his dark eyes swept toward Ling Yunshu, still devoid of any warmth.
