Caught off guard by his sudden change of topic, Gu Qiangwei was momentarily stunned, “Why?”
“I forgot to instruct him on something, to save me calling back later.”
“Oh.” Slightly dazed, Gu Qiangwei went downstairs and did not see Uncle Qin in the living room.
She caught a maid passing by and asked.
The maid first bowed and then glanced in the direction of the backyard.
“Uncle Qin is in the backyard.”
Taking the phone, she headed to the backyard and sure enough saw Uncle Qin feeding the fish by the artificial pond.
Upon hearing her voice, Uncle Qin turned around and saw her handing the phone to him.
“It’s Qin Sijue’s call.”
After hesitating for a moment, Uncle Qin took the phone.
After all, each time the Young Master needed him, he would directly ring the landline, not the Young Madam’s mobile.
“Hello, Young Master.”
