Turning her head to look at Qin Sijue, who had followed her out, she asked blankly, “Do you know how to pilot a yacht?”
He didn’t reply, but frowned instead, looking at her with an expression that suggested her question was pointless.
By the time they returned to Jueyuan, it was already midnight.
After showering, Gu Qiangwei lay in bed, but sleep eluded her.
Her mind was in disarray, caught in a deep reflection.
A deep voice sounded next to her ear.
Until that moment, Qin Sijue had not had dinner.
When they got home, the meal had already turned cold and it had been too long, so Qin Sijue was unlikely to eat it any longer.
At the sound of the voice, Gu Qiangwei slightly turned her head and saw the man who had showered, leaning against the headboard of the bed with a somber face, still carrying a hint of boyishness.
Remembering he had been waiting for her to have dinner, Gu Qiangwei also recalled that he hadn’t eaten dinner yet.
Looking at him, she couldn’t help but ask.
He glanced away, “What do you think?”
A feeling of guilt spread from the bottom of her heart, she threw off the covers, ready to get out of bed,”I’ll go make you a midnight snack!”
“That won’t be necessary.”
As she turned to get out of bed, he pulled her back, and she fell right into his arms.
Before she could react, his domineering kiss dropped without warning, and it was then she realized what he meant by ‘You’ll do’—that she was a feast for the eyes!
Feeling his domineering and warm kiss, Gu Qiangwei found herself slightly sinking into it.
But remembering the physical soreness and the busy day she’d had, she was really too tired.
“Qin Sijue… I’m really tired… yeah…”
He lifted his head from her enticing collarbone area, his eyes hot with desire as he forcibly suppressed the spreading fire, his voice husky and deep, “Really tired?”
She met his gaze, innocently nodding her head, “Yeah.”
In his momentary trance, Gu Qiangwei suddenly made a swift move, jumping off the bed and rushing towards the door, “I’ll go make you a midnight snack!”
As her voice trailed off, she had already vanished like a gust of wind at the entrance of the master bedroom!
Qin Sijue retracted his gaze, furrowing his brow, and ultimately resigned himself to get out of bed and walked towards the bathroom.
It took nearly twenty minutes before he managed to quell the desire that had been aroused.
The man, draped in a bathrobe, then went downstairs.
Upon reaching the living room, he was greeted by an appetizing aroma wafting from the direction of the dining room kitchen.
Gu Qiangwei had prepared two bowls of noodles and fried two eggs, and just as she brought the last bowl to the table, she caught a glimpse of him entering.
Walking over, she sat down at the dinner table where Qin Sijue had already picked up his chopsticks.
Watching him take a bite of noodles, Gu Qiangwei looked at him expectantly.
“It’s good,” he spoke, then took another large mouthful!
Gu Qiangwei smiled contentedly and began to eat with her chopsticks too!
Midway through the meal, Qin Sijue suddenly spoke up.
Gu Qiangwei paused in her movements and looked up at him, puzzled, “Hmm?”
He lifted his eyes, his gaze colliding with hers, contemplating the question she had asked him before: then you? Will you fall in love with me?
