“Did you really ask for leave for me?”

The post-rain weather was doubly soothing.

When she came back to her senses, more than an hour had passed. She moved her neck, trying to alleviate some soreness.
Checking the time, it was already past four in the afternoon.
In this season, it would only get dark around six-thirty, not too late, so Gu Qiangwei took the book she had finished reading and left Jueyuan.
Arriving at the library, after returning “Jane Eyre,” she wanted to look for other books.
When she saw a book titled “Intrigue and Love,” she instinctively reached out to take it from the shelf, but just as her hand touched the shelf, it suddenly made contact with another hand that had reached out at the same time.
Both hands paused in midair upon touching.
Gu Qiangwei turned her gaze, only to see a particularly stunning face.
