Her gaze shifted and she caught sight of a lingerie store right next to her. A flash of inspiration struck Huo Yishan, and she headed straight inside.
He surely wouldn’t be perverse enough to follow her in here.

Li Yuan hadn’t realized it was a lingerie store at first and almost followed her inside.
Upon seeing the various sexy lingerie hanging around the store, his smile involuntarily turned into an awkward twitch.
Just then, his cell phone rang.

“I’ll be there right away.”

For a moment, he was stunned, standing still as if he were a statue.

Had he seen it wrong? Was that… Qiangwei?
Because the distance was a bit far, and Gu Qiangwei’s hair was down, blowing in the breeze and covering half of her face, though he couldn’t see clearly, her silhouette was deeply ingrained in Li Yuan’s mind.
Wanting a clearer view, he took a few steps forward.
However, the figure who had gotten out of the Audi suddenly reached out to open the door anew and returned to the car, then drove away.

Just as she was getting out of the car, Huo Yishan had suddenly called her, warning her that Li Yuan was there and telling her not to get out. “Look up a local license plate for me.”
After hanging up, he waited for about twenty minutes until the phone rang again.
As soon as he answered, Li Yuan couldn’t wait to ask, “How did it go?”
“A white Audi A4, owned by a lady named Gu Weiwei.”
Upon hearing this, Li Yuan felt a sense of disappointment.
But somehow, something felt off.
