"Are you done with your work?"
"Yeah," he stared at her, humming a soft sound.
Gu Qiangwei turned her head to glance out the window, not knowing exactly how long she had slept.
Qin Sijue looked down at his watch, "It’s not yet four o’clock."
She got up and crawled out of bed, "I’m going to use the bathroom."
Afterwards, she walked barefoot on the pure white Persian Carpet, heading straight to the washroom.
Sitting on the toilet, she suddenly remembered the old lady’s words.
She could hardly imagine that such a high and mighty Qin Sijue would actually wet the bed...
The more she thought about it, the more she wanted to laugh.
When she walked out of the washroom and saw Qin Sijue sitting on the edge of the bed, she couldn’t help but laugh again.
But it seemed she knew that Qin Sijue appeared so strong, but was actually quite thin-skinned and probably didn’t want others to snicker at his childhood embarrassments.
She repressed her laughter and walked over to the bed.
Qin Sijue seemed to be checking emails on his phone.
"What are you doing?"
She leaned in, trying to see what he was doing.
However, when Qin Sijue heard her voice, he put away his phone and then imprisoned her in his arms, "I have to go out tonight, you eat well at home by yourself."
Sitting on his lap, Gu Qiangwei frowned, looking at him, "Where are you going?"
"A social engagement."
She nodded, not saying anything further.
"When you were little... did you really wet the bed?"
Giving her a glare, Qin Sijue’s face darkened in the next instant.
Gu Qiangwei didn’t know what got into her, as she’d promised not to bring up his embarrassments.
But she was really curious about his childhood.
"Have you ever heard a saying?"
He glanced at her, "Do not speak of personal secrets, do not reveal people’s shortcomings."
"I was just curious."
"Curiosity comes with a price!" he stated, his eyes shimmering with an unmistakable hint of sensuality.
Gu Qiangwei failed to notice, bewildered, "What price?"
His lips curved slightly, and in the next instant, he leaned down and sealed her soft pink lips with his.
Feeling the familiar softness, the fire that Qin Sijue had been suppressing within himself was quickly ignited, and his hand, involuntarily, started moving slow upwards from her abdomen.
Their kiss, as if enchanted, soon had Gu Qiangwei drowning in the sensation, unable to extricate herself, as her hands uncontrollably climbed around his neck.
Her response undoubtedly fanned the flames inside him, making them burn even more fiercely.
He flipped over, pinning her beneath him, his heated gaze exploring her face and then drifting down to claim her lips again.
His nimble tongue dived in, conquering every part of her that belonged to him...
It felt like a long, long time since the last time, and soon, Gu Qiangwei was stirred to the point of uncontrollable passion, her face flushed with shyness.
She murmured, her voice carrying a hint of unbearable pleading.
He lifted his head slightly, enjoying her state of passion, his voice husky, "I don’t like that name."
She paused for a moment, but already lost in a whirl of emotions, she lost herself.
"Use a different name..."
His face buried down again, his thin lips kissing her sensual collarbone gently, nibbling and leaving behind marks of varying intensity, as his plunder went further down her chest.
And for Gu Qiangwei, this process was sheer torment!
He knowingly teased, deliberately withholding from her.
