And so, mother and daughter switched to another restaurant.
The scene shifted; within the dream, Tang Yuyan suddenly saw her helpless daughter walking alone in a desolate place, holding a bouquet of roses, her head down as she wept and walked, crying out, "Mommy... where are you."
There, in the dream, Tang Yuyan stood not far from her daughter, yet no matter how much she called out, her daughter seemed to hear none of her voice.
"Mommy... where is Mommy... "
"Mommy... why don’t you want Weiwei anymore..."
The little girl wandered aimlessly alone, until she reached the edge of a cliff—
Not far away, Tang Yuyan turned pale with fright, nearly out of her wits, "Weiwei, don’t go any further!"
She reached out her hand, trying to stop her daughter’s steps, but the moment she extended her hand, although she was so close, she couldn’t touch her, watching helplessly as her daughter walked towards the cliff, getting closer and closer...
Watching her daughter walk towards the cliff, Tang Yuyan cried out in near collapse.
Finally, at the moment she cried out, the little girl turned back, as if she had seen her.
Overjoyed and in tears, Tang Yuyan exclaimed, "Weiwei."
"Mommy, why don’t you want Weiwei anymore?"
"No, Mommy hasn’t abandoned you—"
She watched her daughter fall off the cliff, completely out of reach and powerless to help.
The scream tore through the sky, and at the moment her daughter fell from the cliff, her heart seemed to be ripped to shreds, too agonizing to bear!
In the hospital bed, Tang Yuyan suddenly opened her eyes, her pupils already drowned in tears.
Seeing his wife suddenly awaken, Nangong Mingchuan was so startled he almost cried with joy!
Her sudden awakening brought joy to everyone in the ward, except for Nangong Feifei, who stood behind them, and felt a shock at the moment she saw her awaken.
Why had she suddenly come to?

She suddenly sat up and glanced at the people standing by the bed.
Back to reality, she clearly understood that twelve years had passed, and she, incredibly, had forgotten Weiwei for twelve years...
Unable to accept this cruel and painful reality, she nearly fell into the brink of collapse upon awakening, as if mad, hugging her own head, tears poured out, engulfing her.
Seeing his wife, Nangong Mingchuan was terrified, he sat by the bed and held her as she lost control, "Yuyan, what’s really wrong with you? Calm down first... "
He thought she might have had some nightmare, which would explain her pale complexion and unsettling demeanor.
"No... Weiwei... my Weiwei... Ah...!!" It felt as though her chest was being hammered and chiseled, the pain was beyond words, and she struggled desperately as if to break free from Nangong Mingchuan’s hold.
Nangong Mingchuan dared not let her go, utterly clueless what had happened to her after she woke up!
