Chapter 88: Chapter 88 Serving Food to Qin Sijue
“Come and have dinner with Feifei!”
Because it was around the corner, Qin Guozhong couldn’t see the two of them, and could only speak towards the entrance of the dining hall.
Upon hearing the voice, Qin Sijue stepped forward, walking towards the dining hall.
As soon as he entered, Qin Sijue saw Qin Guozhong sitting at the head of the table, as well as a slightly familiar face.
“Come, sit down,” Qin Guozhong said with a smile as he saw his grandson.
This grandson had always been his pride.
Glancing at his suddenly-appearing grandfather, Qin Sijue did not speak and sat down at the dining table.
“Sijue, this is Feifei, you used to play together when you were kids, you remember her, right?”
Qin Guozhong looked at Nangong Feifei, his gaze returning to his beloved grandson’s face.
Despite having a guest, Qin Sijue was anything but polite, picking up chopsticks and a bowl and began eating while answering Qin Guozhong’s question.
This damn kid, still so haughty and indifferent in front of others!
When will he ever change this attitude?
“She is the granddaughter of the Nangong Family, didn’t you have a good time playing together as kids?”
Qin Sijue continued to eat his dinner calmly, but upon hearing Qin Guozhong’s words, he lifted his narrow and deep black eyes, “Seeing each other twice counts as having a good time?”

This damn kid, not even giving face to his own grandfather!
“So you do remember!”
Qin Guozhong glanced at him, displeased, saying one doesn’t remember but recalls meeting only twice!
“I only remember there was such a person, as for who, I’m not sure,” he answered with an ever-composed demeanor, as if the only things that mattered to him were the meal in his bowl and the dishes on the table while everything else went unnoticed.
Qin Guozhong pursed his lips and glared with puffed cheeks!
By Nangong He’s side, however, he chuckled, “Hehe, after all, it’s been more than ten years, it’s normal not to remember!”
Irritated, Qin Guozhong swept a glance at his grandson across the table, but seeing Nangong He smoothing things over, he didn’t pursue it.
Knowing his grandson had always been cool and reticent, Qin Guozhong picked up his chopsticks, inviting Nangong He and Nangong Feifei to dinner.
Even while eating, Nangong Feifei’s gaze never left Qin Sijue’s face, sculpted as if from jade.
“Feifei, I don’t know if these dishes are to your liking?” out of concern for his potential future granddaughter-in-law, Qin Guozhong was worried his grandson’s aloofness might affect her.
Upon hearing this, Nangong Feifei quickly turned her gaze towards Qin Guozhong and smiled sweetly, “They’re delicious, I’m not picky.”
“Hehe, I’m glad you like it!” For Qin Guozhong, Nangong Feifei seemed quite sensible.
Her appearance, temperament, and even her family background made her an excellent choice for the Qin Family’s future matriarch!
Nangong Feifei smiled and once again turned her gaze to Qin Sijue’s face.
Seeing him eat a mouthful of rice, she couldn’t help wanting to pick some dish for him to display her considerate nature.
“Try this fish, it’s quite good!” she said, placing a slice of boiled fish into his bowl.
This sudden action immediately caught the attention of Qin Guozhong and Mr. Qin, both pausing and looking in surprise at the piece of boiled fish now in Qin Sijue’s bowl.
Qin Guozhong had always known his grandson had a quirk since he was a child, never touching anything picked up with someone else’s chopsticks.
