Upon hearing this, Nan Batian said, "What evil or not evil, I just can’t believe that he would see through a plan so meticulous as this one. If that were the case, he wouldn’t be Chen Jiusi; he’d be the living God himself."
Tang Ziyue said, "Hmm, what the Gang Leader said is very true. This time we’ll closely monitor everyone involved. If he still gets wind of it in advance, I really would wonder if the heavens have given him a prophetic dream!"
Chen Jie dragged his exhausted body back home, and soon his carriage arrived at the doorstep where Si Xi was already waiting for him.
