Now all she could do was pray for the safety of Bai Qianqian and Doctor Bai.

“Perhaps you should spend more time with him,” Gu Qingxin said, feeling sorry for Xiao Yi. Not only couldn’t he talk, it didn’t even seem like Ye Yingsu spent much time with him, she just seemed to visit him occasionally.
As for how occasionally, Gu Qingxin assumed it was perhaps only once a year, likely on Xiao Yi’s birthday.
“On Xiao Yi’s birthday, I gave him a pair of ceramic rabbits, and he gave me a painting. I think you should take a look at that painting,” she suggested.
“A painting? Can Xiao Yi paint?”
“Not only can he paint, but he also intelligently uses leaves to make artwork. The painting I mentioned is currently at the North Garden,” Ye Yingsu revealed.
She abruptly stood up and, after a quick glance at Qingxin, hastily exited the room.
“That painting is mine! Remember to put it back when you’re done looking! You have no right to keep it!” Gu Qingxin stood up and shouted loudly.
Ye Yingsu’s body stiffened for a moment before she quickly left.
Seeing her gone, Gu Qingxin also became restless. She decided to check on Bai Qianqian and Bai Jingqing.
Just as she stepped out of the room, she saw the doctor entering the adjacent guest room.
Her heart was racing as she ran over and followed him in.
Upon hearing a noise, Beiming Han turned around. His face darkened at the sight of her.
Dressed in nothing but a bathrobe with her fair, almost translucent skin on display, and with her black locks draping over her shoulders, she was irresistibly alluring.
Beiming Han turned back, picking her up and carrying her out of the room.
“Ah Han, how is Qianqian? How about Doctor Bai? I didn’t get a good look at what was happening in there,” Gu Qingxin, who was rushed out of the room as soon as she entered, couldn’t grasp the situation.
“They’re both fine, it’s you who should be worried about yourself!” Beiming Han responded sternly.

“And so am I!” Beiming Han returned to the adjacent room, throwing her onto the bed.
Gu Qingxin had thought he was going to make a move on her, but he bit her lightly as if punishing her and then ordered someone to bring her clothes. He then left.
After Gu Qingxin changed her clothes, she immediately ran out of the room. By the time she reached the next room, it was vacant.
Beiming Han informed her that both Bai Qianqian and Bai Jingqing had been taken to the hospital.
Gu Qingxin immediately rushed to the hospital. Luckily, Bai Qianqian was out of danger. She only needed some fluids and could be discharged the next day if she showed no adverse reactions.
Bai Jingqing had had a car accident on the way there due to speeding. His impact had shattered the windshield and doctors were surprised he had made it to the hospital at all.

After seeing Bai Qianqian, Gu Qingxin went to see Bai Jingqing. His forehead injury had been bandaged and his eyes were tightly shut. His long eyelashes were drooped, and his lips were as pale as could be.
